I was very disappointed with my experience. I have emailed the below to the restaurant and had no response. I have also commented on social media which they have deleted and ignored. I have still not received my refund…..

I have eaten at the restaurant many times and I always recommend the place to family and friends. It was an added bonus that today you was giving a free breakfast for Father’s Day. It was my boyfriends first Father’s Day so going to a nice place would be perfect. We also asked the rest of my family to come, a total party of 10 , who live in Worcester and Henley in Arden.

Understandably, you was a bit busy but we managed to get a table at 11 and there was tables to spare. I waited 20 minutes at the bar to be served to only be told you had stopped serving food and would restart at 12. I was highly confused why a waitress hadn’t informed the big queue of people of this. Surely the chefs know their capacity. We also heard you had ran out of food and saw staff walking through with co-op bags! I ordered some drinks whilst as a family we decided what we was going to do. Unfortunately, after waiting over ten minutes and still not receiving our drinks we gave up. I asked for a refund. I actually don’t know if the refund worked as the bar staff couldn’t provide a receipt. With my persistence I was given a written receipt.

I’m not sure if you are part of a chain or independently ran, but you need to consider pre booking or being more prepared when...

My hubble and I came here for a lil treat as we felt it was deserved and it's 50% off burgers on a Tuesday. The burgers were great. The hallumi fries were brilliant but do not need the chili's and pomegranate on it. The fries were a little bit of a let down and we did not like the onion rings. They are huge onion rings and it just felt like too much. Too many onion rings, too much onion, too much batter. However, the service here is the best I have had anywhere. The guy who welcomed me was so sweet and genuinely seems to like working here. When he collected our plates and asked if I'd like to take the onion rings home, I explained that unfortunately they were the only thing we didn't really like. He not only offered us both extra drinks but then refunded the onion rings. Over personal taste! Incredible. The young lass who came and did our refund was also really pleasant and smiley and had a little chat with us before going on about her work and also, seems to genuinely want to be here. The owners must actually treat their staff with kindness and respect here and it really shows. Food wise where The Hart really comes into its own is the deserts. We had churros which were perfectly crisp with a delicious chocolate dipping sauce. No soggy churros here! We also had the home made sticky Toffee pudding which was hands down the best I have had anywhere....

A Little late review March breakfast/brunch for my daughters 21st On arriving my little one whom is on the ASD spectrum he wasn’t completely comfortable with the background music. Fearing he was going to have an episode I approached the staff about possibly turning the music down a level. It wasn’t particularly loud but with a child with sensory issues sometimes senses and new places can be challenging. Mindful I didn’t want to upset other diners experience I was happy to leave. It’s not uncommon we’ve done this many times in the past had to abort plans. However to our joy, Staff were completely understanding. Not only did they create a safe space for my son by using the curtains to section the room off they was able to reduce the level of volume in our section. We had a an amazing breakfast and most of all my little boy enjoyed his time out. Staff even brought him out an ice cream and gave him flashing ice cubes for his drink. He now uses these at bath time 🥰 Absolutely would recommend this establishment to anyone with children and if like mine you have a child with a super power don’t be put off going out as The Hart is extremely welcoming and a safe space for your super hero. Will definitely...

I recall visiting the previous incarnation of The Hart 20 years ago and enjoying drinks with a school friend. This version is very different, and as a pub, it is delightfully furnished. The bathrooms are incredible, with almost artisan fittings. This is light years away from the local pub it was previously. Whether this is a good thing or not depends on perspective and choice. A well-appointed pub nearby is excellent, but maybe it's too plush for the area. My main gripe is an extension of this thought: it's too expensive. It's decorated beyond a beer place, but at 24 UKP for bottles of average wine, I think it's poorly positioned. Maybe this is not untypical of UK pubs, and it might explain why there has been so much change in the industry. As for service, there is none; ordering at a bar is not service. I didn't try the food, and the IPA I tried was okay; it was nothing memorable. I would like to visit again to enjoy a quiet drink.

Came for a Sunday lunch - firstly, the prices are really quite steep. £17 for a Sunday lunch each, which I'm sorry to say was mostly cold. Only one carrot on my plate and the beef was so stringy. It all tasted okay but was generally a bit bland. We had dessert and waited 35 minutes for it to come out - a bit of a long wait for some puddings! It was fairly busy inside but the staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing. One of our meals was delayed by a good 5-10 minutes and they didn't have any mashed potato available - even though there were roast potatoes on offer! Overall, it was okay. Not sure I'd come back when I can have a cavery which is all hot and fresh at a cheaper price!

No booking nessasary. On arrival, we selected our meals and drinks. The menus had all the classics , deserts, and beers and an array of good sandwiches to select from. The table was clean and cutlery was in great condition. And had battery charger units installed into the chairs. The meal took 15 mins to arrive and was super tasty and rich. The stand out being the cabbage with the sauage and mash!! The price is a bit on the heavy side, but you definitely see in taste and presentation. Will definitely go again
