Slim Chickens @ Tesco — Restaurant in Redditch

I’m not one to normally complain but I was not happy about how my food was prepared tonight at the Redditch branch. I watched the lady use her bare hands the pick up the chopped chicken to put on my loaded fries. Now whilst I understand that gloves are not a legal requirement I’m sure this is best practice but the lady had rings on her fingers! If jewellery is worn then so should gloves. I complained to the other lady when I asked for a manager and was told they don’t have to wear gloves and that was that. Also when preparing the loaded fries the same lady poured sauce in then started laughing. The other lady looked (the one that came over when I asked for an manager)and from what I could see picked up another sauce that looked similar as the wrong one was used. The First Lady then proceeded to add the right sauce on top of the wrong sauce and stated it’s ok they won’t taste it! To the other ladies credit she said no and looked to remake the meal. This is terrible as what if I had an allergy. If the other lady wasn’t there and I handy witnessed this then the meal would not have been remade and this could have been fatal for someone!! Overall not a great experience at all. We did not eat the food. It went in the bin when I got home £30 wasted! You market yourself and price yourself as a restaurant not so much fast food. You need to ensure that that’s the service your customers are getting. We used you regularly but will be reluctant to return. Order...

I recently had the pleasure of trying Slims Chicken for the first time and I have to say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to help me navigate the menu.

The restaurant had a clean, modern vibe that made me feel right at home. The menu had a great selection of items to choose from, but I ultimately decided to go with their signature chicken tenders and I am so glad I did. The tenders were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The breading had the perfect amount of seasoning and the chicken itself was incredibly flavorful.

I also tried their fries and they were delicious - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the attention to detail that went into each dish.

Overall, my experience at Slims Chicken was fantastic. The food was top-notch and the service was excellent. I highly recommend giving Slims Chicken a try - you won't be...

It’s a shame….

This place seems like it’s trying to be five guys in a way and apparently Nando’s direct competitor. Nando’s wins all day long! 10 times out of 10

We ordered wings and a chicken sandwich.

The wings were awful, absolutely no seasoning on the batter, oil was the main flavour and the wings tasted dirty. We ordered one dry set and one coated set but both turned up dry and compensated with a tiny tub of sauce not enough to even coat 3 wings max.

The texas toast was stale and just tasted awful. Burger was completely average. The only thing we enjoyed were the cherry cokes.

I would recommend going else where or just saving your money.

Would not order again as it’s disappointing and honestly tasted dirty and like the fryers haven’t been cleaned. I don’t complain but 1 star...
