Weâve been Costa customers for a long time but for about a year now the quality of service, food and drinks in the Redhill branch has not been the same. In the summer, we tried to scan the barcode in their app to get the free drink that youâre supposed to get after having purchased 8 drinks before and the lady at the till (who was probably new) couldnât mark it on the system and we lost the free drink. Then, she insisted that it was our fault and we didn't have a free drink in the first place, instead of admitting her mistake. The situation was not dealt fairly and we were left disappointed. Generally, their service isnât good - staff donât know their special offers and tend to be quite unwelcoming. Also, we were served pastries which were dry and have definitely been out for 2-3 days at least. We can make a difference with other branches like the one in Reigate, for example, which has always had great service and better quality food and drinks. We wonât go to the Redhill branch any time soon...
   Read moreI went in before work, there was only three young adults working, no supervisor's/manager's I'm assuming or anything, they were talking and laughing with each other, paying some attention to the customers and when I ordered, I went outside and had a sip of what I thought was a Mint Hot Chocolate only to realise it was plain Hot Chocolate which I don't like very much normally, only to realise as well the guy who taken my order who had been talking to another colleague while I said my order so all he heard was 'hot chocolate' so that was why my order was wrong and I couldn't go back and sort it out as I had work to go too. I like Costa it's okay but I was annoyed as the guy didn't confirm my drink after I had said it as well, so I couldn't of corrected him...
   Read moreEverytime I go in here, their services is soo slow itâs ridiculous! They obviously have a rubbish system and donât know whoâs doing what. I understand they may be short staffed, however Iâve been to other costas where only 2 people have been working and yet our order was done within a couple of minutes and no waiting at all. The day in question, 3/4 people were working and they still said they were understaffed and I waited around 10 mins for my order and the queue was going out the door!
