Firstly let me say that the food was at its usual fast pace and quality, no peri fries but these aren't easy times so no biggie, the food also was at its usual high standard and the restaurant clean to an acceptable standard. These are the positives.
So why the 3 stars you may ask?!?!?
Well the service and experience was so painfully laughable and woeful that we had an amazing hour for all the wrong reasons.
The staff looked and sounded so obviously disinterested that the few words they said felt forced and robotic. The complete lack of desire to listen to our attempts to order food or be polite/friendly would have annoyed most paying customers, however we were so baffled and amused by the complete lack of attempt or desire to make us feel valued or even human that we just went with the bannanas flow.
They also cleared our table as we were getting desert (which in itself had a mental spoon story), even though our phone was there! once we engaged the lady about the lost phone, she asked us how long ago we had left, WE HAD BEEN IN THE SAME TABLE FOR 1 HOUR.... They had forgotten our faces within the 2 minutes we took to get to the frozen yogurt machine and back💩 even though the restaurant was quiet throughout our visit.
I wish the obsurd story finished there but all the other elements of confusion, apathy and complete opposite to customer skills this review could take hours!!
To conclude: Would I go again? Yes 100% but for all the wrong reasons. It was simply so inept and bad that we are still laughing 2 hours later, we had a wail of a time. I don't even care care that we were over charged as the guy couldn't be bothered to listen. It was simply to much of a surreal disaster to not laugh about.

My wife placed an order for collection at 8.20pm this evening. The girl on the phone was quite clear that if we came to pick the order up at 9 it would be ready.
The high street in Reigate, as many will know, is a nightmare for parking so I pulled up outside whilst my wife ran in to collect the order thinking it would be a brief visit.
After 5 mins of my wife waiting, she was then advised it would be another 5 mins until part of the order was ready.
It then took another 30 mins for the order to actually come out!! There was absolutely no point in calling ahead for ease.
On the way home I called the shop to express my disappointment and provide what I felt was some valid feedback.
I explained that there is no problem telling a call-in customer it will be a long wait - that is fine. Just don’t advise a collection time that’s entirely different to the reality, because that will annoy people.
The ‘manager’ was too interested in justifying the delay and didn’t get the point I was making.
I offered him the choice of either accepting some customer feedback over the phone, or for me to write a review.
He rather confidently suggested I “write a review then”, so here you are boss-man - here’s your review.
Subsequently, upon getting the order home (we’re only a few mins away), not only was the food bone dry, hard and cold, but there was also an item that was missing entirely.

Read moreI recently visited the nandos in reigate with my boyfriend only to recieve the most shocking customer service. From the moment we arrived, which was more than an hour before closing time, the atmosphere was very unprofessional having alot of young people coming in and out in jeans and flairs. By the time our food came so did what seemed like all the staff of the restuarant. Not only were the chicken wraps we ordered bland and dry, but the staff that came in then proceeded to start closing down an hour before closing time. At this point we were the only customers there, but they managed to stack up every table around us and then had one member off staff linger around clearly impatient so much so that I felt too uncomfortable to contiune eating. It was made obivous we were in the way of their staff do, consequently i was completely put off my food, didnt get to finish it and to make matters worse felt ushered out the door to a contradictive 'thanks for coming'. For £30 this was the least welcoming and satisfying nandos experience ever.
