New Tong Fung - Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

So I took my mum out for a Chinese to celebrate some fantastic news we had just received. I have been using this restaurant for a long time for take always and going out a few years back I would have given it 5 stars but now I give it 3

1st star for the food: it’s always fresh, hot and delicious.

2nd star for the service: the waitress always does her best to please you she can be abit hard work at times but overall she is a great person

3rd star for overall experience: it’s nice to actually find a restaurant that is nice

I did however take a couple of stars off. Simply because the price. Every time I go there the price goes up. It’s not a bad thing for quality you’re getting however they have changed the menu and as the eat in is never really busy I don’t think that continued price increaese are a way to draw in customers.

Overall this is a great place to eat and I would highly recommend it! And I will be continue to go back. As long as the price remains no more than...

If your thinking about ordering a takeaway from this Chinese don't waste you're time as it won't come anyway! They will leave you to starve! This establishment just so happened to "lose" my order. I was told it was to be half and hour to 45mins but it was a Saturday night so we allowed an hour, when it got to an 1 hour 30mins I rang to enquirer where my food was. They had completely forgotten/missed it. This is human error but they was completely unapologetic about it and said we will make it and you only have to wait half an hour. I was also told to appreciate that they was very busy. I'm sorry but the only thing I should have appreciated was the food not the fact that someone there is obviously incompetent! The worst customer service in the world. Not only was delivery late, they forgot half of our order they also messed up the half they did send. An absolute shambles. Asked for no mushrooms due to an allergy and they called us liars when we called them to say there was mushrooms in it. And then after checking with the chef that there is indeed mushrooms in it. When calling them to ask about it they kept putting the phone down so had to keep continuously ringing them. Refused to give us a refund and the manager refused to come on the phone to us. I Will NEVER order from them again. I would choose zero stars however that’s not an option...
