Storia Redhill — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

Fantastic. Feels like an independent restaurant.

Visited last night after giving up on another restaurant. Everyone working here was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the second we left, going as far as opening the door for us.

The food was genuinely fantastic, we had the pork meatballs and the steak tagliata; both exceptional. The steak was beautifully cooked, the truffles and mushrooms were too. The meatballs were rich and satisfying.

The service was prompt, very professional altogether.

The setting is clean and cosy, a very relaxed atmosphere.

I was slightly let down by the tiramisu; it was on the dry-side and served in an awkward shaped bowl, it needed more moisture and to be a batch as opposed to an individually made item. Please just make big tiramisu, be generous with the liquids!

That being said, the rest of the meal and the evening was so good, that the experience still easily warrants a 5-star review, where normally a sub-par tiramisu would bring you to a 4-star!

Redhill has been crying out for somewhere decent to eat, and now it’s here.

Short menus are almost always a sign of quality!

As we walked in we immediately knew it was going to be a great night and we weren’t wrong. It was full of happy, chatty people enjoying their evening, the atmosphere blew us away having previously been in there when it was Prezzo.

The decor is warm and inviting.

The service is second to none. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

The food, what can I say apart from it was absolutely delicious. Beyond delicious. My partner is Italian and he was delighted at how delicious and authentic it was.

I had the Beef Carpaccio, which is one of my favourites. Believe me I was astounded at how amazing it was, the best I’ve ever had.

This is going to be our regular Italian fix and are absolutely delighted that it’s on our doorstep.

Just visited the Storia restaurant at Redhill with family for dinner.. The service was very poor, they do not keep any tissues or serve any water, I think we should ask for water but coming to the point we ordered a few dishes and trust me we had the worst pizza ever in our life. I told the waitress the pizza was burnt under which was very obvious but she said this is how it is made / cooked which I totally disagree. The least I expected was to not pay for the pizza as we could manage to eat only a couple of slices and we realised later it was burnt nicely under.. Totally disgusted to pay £ 15 which is not worth at all.. I hardly leave reviews even if the experience or food is bad, I just think it’s bad luck and not visit the place again.. It was our wedding anniversary but turned out to be the worst experience.. I will never ever step into this...
