I've been ordering from the Curry Bengal for years, but was really disappointed tonight. Spent over £50 and the food was really poor. The lamb in the starter was overcooked and chewy, the chicken in the korma was dry and overcooked, the rice's were all stone cold, and one of the nan breads was raw and soggy on one side, and the rest was rock hard! Was going to order from another restaurant, but went with the Curry Bengal because it was much cheaper. I won't make that mistake again, really disappointed.

Such a shame. The first time we ordered from here it was lovely the 2nd time we blamed it on what we ordered and gave it another chance but today we were very disappointed the prawns are defiantly not king prawns and the butter chicken is like no other butter chicken I have ever had before not sure why it’s gone so bad from the first time we ordered but we wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t order from here again

1st time at this place and wasn't disappointed. Nice seating and ambience. Service good and unobtrusive. First time I've convinced my husband to have a curry He had korma which he said was lovely. I had a very tasty Chicken Biryani. Good size portions we couldn't finish. Very good value for and reasonably priced drinks.

We were down on a visit to our daughter and wanted to treat her and our Grandson to a nice takeaway. We ordered at 6.30pm and we're told delivery would be 50 mins ie 7.20 pm. By 7.40 nothing had arrived so I rang and was told the driver had left at 7.25 pm and would be with us at any moment. LIE. By 8pm no takeaway!! We rang again and were told it would be another 30 mins ie 8.30. Nothing arrived. At 8.50 we ranvyet again and asked for a refund. At 9.15 the doorbell rang it was our takeaway, cold and so we told the delivery man to take it back. We now await our refund and an apology would be nice. We will NEVER use them again and warn you all to be prepared for a long wait. That was on a Thursdsy goodness knows what a weekend...

Never ever I will buy from curry Bengal after the recent experience. My delivery was late by 2hrs despite me ringing several times. When foods arrived, the bag were soaking wet and I soon as I took the bag out, the whole delivery ended on the floor. My guests left without any foods and I was left with embarrassment. I have the photos of the foods on the floor. I complaint and I was offered a 25% refund and £25% voucher. I could not accept the offer as asked for justification for having the foods thrown out when it has been on the floor. The manager never responded to my two messages. It's is appalling for being a loyal customer for the last 7yrs since I moved...

We ordered takeaway via their website which said the wait time for delivery was 60 minutes. 120 minutes later we were still waiting for it to be delivered!! We called to ask where it was on many occasions and just got fobbed off saying “it’s out for delivery”. Finally 30 minutes after calling it arrived. So a 2 hour 30 minute wait. Although when it did finally arrive not everything we ordered and paid for had been delivered! We emailed them with the email confirmation of the order and explained we had not received everything but they are yet to reply! Awful customer service. Normally our go to but will be looking...
