Rated 1 out of 5 stars Awful experience and poor follow up I am appalled at the service (or rather lack of) that I received at McDonalds Failsworth and their Customer Services via Facebook. Yesterday my colleague and I attended Mcdonalds on our lunch break. We both used 2 different self serve tills. Mine did not print a receipt but I had my order number. The screen that shows the order status was also not working. My colleagues order came at 5 minutes and was barely warm. I waited another 10 minutes before I approached the counter to ask for an update. I was told he would go and check, a further 5 minutes passed and I asked again ro be told the order was just being prepared. A further 5 minutes passed again and I went back to the counter to be told they could not find a record of it!! At this point I shown them the transaction on my banking app and asked for the manager and a refund. I asked the manager for his name to be asked why! I explained I wanted to issue a complaint as 25 minutes +was not acceptable and explained that I could not understand why noone had come back to me for further information. I also explained that my colleagues food was now stone cold and the response was a shrug of the shoulders.
To add insult to injury, I messaged via Facebool this morning explaining everything to be asked for my receipt, if they had read it they would know the machine wasn't working. I explained again that I received no lunch yesterday, my colleagues was cold, the fact that I was just left waiting to get a vague apology and the offer of a voucher. I mentioned again about my colleague's lunch and I just get fobbed off and asked to contact the restaurant for a refund. No ownership, no empathy, no understanding.
I am now going to write an official complaint and send this to the head office

Read moreUnfortunately another horrible order from the fast food restaurant, seems to always have problems with the order... The delivery guy was perfectly fine, but when made in the restaurant instructions were not taken clearly when asking for things to be taken off and added to the order. This resulted in a waste of money on dips for example(we received not a single dip)... The food problems as example were, The burger not having specific ingredients taken off. And as previously mentioned missing dips. Why it's so difficult to sometimes get a simple order correct is confusing... Ordering to home from here has been an issue 80 percent off the time... Another issue with ordering off the app, you can not successfully and easily ask for a refund. This allows money to be taken off of you for an order that may be in short words... Terrible shocking. Urgently needs an actual manager because the current one...
Read moreYet again poor effort , How hard is it to fill a cardboard box up with fries . Surly you was taught how to do this in your training. Step one: pick up box for the fries in one hand. Step two: with your other hand pick up the utensil that’s designed especially to assist you complete this task . It helps portion control and also makes the fries stand up and look nice. Step three: next when you have completed the first two steps look at it and make sure they are not soggy mushy not even half full. If you are still unsure take the box of fries to your line manager and ask them for assistance. You ripped my 67 year old mother off tonight and I was ashamed to present her with with what you deemed acceptable. I am going to come down there and stand and watch you do peoples fries and if I see you do them wrong I’m going to say nooooooo morrrrrre . Thankyou for reading please do better next...
