Absolutely despicable place. Went in with my daughter and ordered our large drinks, two cakes and handed the staff member a cheese toasty. Got our first large drink a caramel Frappuccino, waited ages for my drink a large dragon fruit and mango refresher and they handed me a medium drink. I said I have ordered a large so they proceeded to make it a large one. Went and sat down. About 20 minutes later I went to the counter to ask how long my cheese toasty would be. Person who served me looked dumbfounded and then said did you order cakes too. Erm yes… I went back to my table but watched as the staff member went over to the oven where she had clearly put it in to cook and left it there, forgetting about it. She binned it then she went to the fridge and got another toasty. I waited back at the table then see it’s ready so go to the counter to get it and notice something peeking out between the slices. I lift it to look and she had made me a ham and cheese toasty! I am vegetarian and tell her I ordered a cheese toasty and that I am veggie. No apology or anything. Just takes it and goes and heats me a cheese toasty. Absolutely appalling. Miserable incompetent staff. Awful depressing atmosphere. No customer service skills whatsoever. I went Sunday 7th July 2024 afternoon about 3.30pm with my daughter. So whoever owns this Starbucks clearly needs a word with their horrendous awful staff! I will never visit this over priced disgusting place again! So do not visit....
Read moreThis is hands down the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The Coffee Master here (and only her it seems) recently keeps saying they don't have filter coffee, and that they've not had it for ages now. When asked whether she can do me an Americano for the same price as it's their fault for choosing not brew it, she won't do it, and charges me much more for what is just a black coffee. Other branches will always give me an Americano for the same price if they happen to have not brewed any filter coffee.
Also the coffee master here charges me £1.70 for a Babyccino which is free at every single other Starbucks. When asked why this is, she tells me it's because it's a Franchise and they all do things differently. It seems like just this branch that does this.
This is absolutely unacceptable, and just an excuse for this particular franchise owner to bring in more money through charging people for menu items which are free at other Starbucks branches.
I've also witnessed staff slamming cups onto the surfaces and throwing items out of anger at this particular branch, which is so unprofessional.
I find this kind of service appalling, and I'll be writing a formal complaint to Starbucks customer...
