I recently had the pleasure of dining at Battle of India Curry House, and I was absolutely delighted by the experience. The freshness of the ingredients in each dish was truly outstanding, making every bite a flavorful adventure for the taste buds.

Moreover, the service was top-notch - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was truly commendable.

The Okra dish I tried was simply exceptional. Cooked to perfection, the okra was tender yet still had a delightful crunch to it. The blend of spices and seasonings elevated the dish to a whole new level.

The portions are very generous and the menu is quite specific, so not too many dishes which i like. I like my food spicy, but found all the dishes spicy, but to their credit they offered to recook. The venue is quite small so the majority of staff were very attentive. One of the managers in particularly was superb, looked after Mum which she loved. My criticism was that I booked online and when we arrived they didnt have our booking. One of the staff, tall and bald, was really rude and happy for us to just leave as it wasnt his fault. We have eaten in the restaurant a few times and always found the food, staff and atmosphere to be lovely. Tonight we thought we'd try a takeaway. Big mistake. The Lamb Balti tasted nothing like a Balti. It had no spice just an overwhelming sweet flavour. The Lamb was tough. The Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh had no spice. Chicken in tinned tomato's was how my husband described it. The Bombay Aloo Potatoes were spongy and again no spice level.
