Immediately opposite Battle Abbey. Cosy little place with very friendly staff. I had an All Day Breakfast bap bacon, sausage and fried egg, all sourced locally. Tea comes in a pot with enough for 2 cups. 3 ladies had reserved a table for afternoon tea, they kindly allowed me to take a photo before they tucked in. Apparently the new owner took over only a couple of days before my visit. There were a couple of minor teething problems including cash only until WiFi is available. I will definitely visit again if in the area. Update, Almost a year later we revisited Bluebells. We certainly weren't disappointed. This time we had lunch. Sausage roll with salad and cheese scone tea. The scone, the sausage roll and the coleslaw are all homemade we could tell YUMMM. This tearoom serves much more than the traditional tearoom fare of cakes and scones but save room for one or both as they are homemade and delicious

We visited this quaint little tea room on a whim after exploring Battle Abbey just across the road, and it was just wonderful! The staff were super friendly and so helpful. The design of the tearoom was so cosy and welcoming, I absolutely loved all the decor and the little touches like the flowers on the table and the China that was used. Even the music playing really just made the experience glorious. We had a cream tea for two, which was wonderful value and it was probably the best I’ve ever had! The scone was warm and tasted so fresh, along with the jam and cream it was divine. We were visiting from North Hampshire, but when in the area again I’d definitely like to try some other items they had on the menu - the cakes look so scrummy!

Beautiful quaint little tea room. Shabby chic throughout with a very relaxed and cosy feel. Directly opposite Battle Abbey. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Compliments to the chef! The sausage roll was incredible! The food was all freshly prepared and presented beautifully. We had a cream tea with a cherry and almond & fruit scone. They also welcome dogs. There's a toilet with baby changing facilities, it is outside with a few small steps, but it was incredibly clean and welcoming. The entrance is on ground level with a small step. Could easily fit a pushchair/wheelchair through. Overall the place is perfect for a light bite and somewhere to have a good natter!

My partner Ann and myself had a very pleasant day today (20-7-21) in Battle; at the Abbey with an interesting walk around the most famous of Englands battlefields, but what made the day a most memorable experience was our two visits to this most delightful of tea rooms, with a welcome to warm the cockles of any heart. We were so chilled out that it was a wrench to leave, the sandwiches were perfect in both presentation and taste and the relaxed atmosphere with very tasteful background music. I very rarely give a five star rating as I believe in leaving room for improvement, but you cannot improve on perfection so I did not hesitate at recommending this establishment with five stars! A big well done and be sure we will...
