Marina Cafe — Restaurant in Rother

If I could give a lesser rating, I would to these heartless, greedy people.

I went with my family to camber sands and it was a busy sunny bank holiday weekend. I went into the cafe to ask if I could get some hot water for my crying baby to make his milk. Firstly I was ignored. And when I gestured to a staff member I was told abruptly to queue with everyone else. I tried to explain that I didn’t want to place an order but just wanted somebody to fill my baby’s bottle with hot water. This fell on deaf ears and eventually, I queued in with everyone else. When my turn came, I was served but asked to pay for the hot water!!! I tried to explain that it was less than 100ml to fill up an infant milk bottle but I couldn’t have been ignored more! Eventually I paid for it but walked away disgusted. This is absolutely the worst place in the country for customer service and if you ever want to visit camber sands with your family, I suggest you get a picnic basket from home and pack everything, including a thermas for hot water if you’re with a baby. Wouldn’t recommend this place even...

Absolutely horrendous service. 2 out of the 3 staff were decent. The third one, a big tall lady with an abvious skin condition, had a disgusting attitude. We were a big family with lots of little kids, we came in and placed our orders for fish and chips. The children were very tired, hungry and thirsty, so as we waited for food we gave them some juice that we already had with us (not bought at the store). As well as some cut fruit to hydrate them and settle them as we waited for the main meal. This horrible woman made such a racket that the children were drinking juice not bought from the shop. apparently we can ONLY eat things bought from their store. She even refused us giving water belonging to us. Thought this was supposed to be a family friendly place. Never going there again and giving these clowns my money. As PAYING customers, with an order of around £70+, how dare she be so intolerable towards little children half of whom were not the age to be able...

DO NOT GO THERE!!! UNLESS YOU WANNA RISK Your HEALTH!! So we ordered 2 hot dogs and chips. We waited for order more than 20min. However it didn't show up. So I went to the counter to ask about it. Serving ladies was confused about ir. One said that somebody already took the order. I ask them where is my food then if I still have my ticket. After that they figure out that it was a mistake, and they just messed up order. However when I received order it was dreadful. Plus it's turn out that they can handle the till and cook food in same time without using gloves. Another thing they put ingredients which is without any labels of date. It could be really nice and cool place ,but hygiene there is dreadful and atitude to service...
