Mowgli tells its customer this is real Indian food with no fillers but does it live up to its promise? The restaurant has an absolute beautiful view when not blocked by the cars outside you can see through to the sea. It is lovely to look at the little Indian dwellings while seated in an airy restaurant. You are surrounded by ornate touches within a mostly white couple of rooms apart from the one wall of leaves which is a nod to the jungle. There is chilled ambient music which is tasteful and mainstream enough to be enjoyable to a varied crowd. Service was impeccable. It was extremely attententive and polite. The waiters are gentle and seem to care whether you have enjoyed your meal. They are good at giving suggestions when there is debate about how much food to get or what to have. They kept the table clean in between courses which is not something all restaurants do. The food is as promised proper Indian food with a beautiful mix of flavours and filler free. There definitely wasn't any watery curry. The food was perfect in size. We had Nepalese chicken, the Premier, pilau rice and nan bread and there was a good mix of sweet and savory and different textures to enjoy. We had been before for food and it was so good we have return again. I had been dreaming of their full of flavour food since the last time I visited! They beat many curry places in London. Well done Mowgli!

Mowgli's is our local Indian and we love it. We order a takeaway regularly and the food is always beautiful but you can't beat eating in. The food is stunning!! Offering a lot more dishes then what's on the takeaway menu. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Chardonnay is delicious and a free brandy was offered as we were celebrating an anniversary. I would always recommend this fantastic establishment to any person who loves Indian food at a great price. If you are ever in Bexhill then get yourself down to the seafront and enjoy a fabulous meal.......... Don't forget to wear loose fitting clothes 😊😊.

First time eating at Mowgli’s this evening, we fancied and Indian but wanted a little change! And that it was, staff all very friendly, pleasant professional service. Food tasted amazing, it’s not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get! And if you like peas, I’d recommend the special rice, there was enough for a family of 4 🤭🤷‍♀️ All In all great meal out. 🏆✔️ Even had after eights as a after dinner mint, the only after dinner mint that should be served 🔥

I haven't felt this compelled to quickly drop a review on a restaurant for some years, but the experience at Mowgli was such that I'm reaching for my phone asap.

It was a hot Summer's evening and we pulled up on Bexhill seafront in order to go looking for an Indian restaurant. We pulled up right outside Mowgli by chance and its 'shop front' was an instant attraction. Clean, maintained and attractive. Seating outside the front a draw too. It looks great and the obvious efforts and taste continue inside which is also a cut above and there's lots of attention to detail.

Firstly, the service was impeccable. We were greeted with warmth and accommodation. All the staff were friendly as we faffed around trying to work out where to sit.

Then there's the food. The cheffing team are something else. The dips for the poppodams (so often a non event) set the tone and I couldn't get enough of all four of them. They even had their own take on onion salad - almost always simply chopped onion and coriander - Mowgli had given it a touch of class and lifted it into something refined. Attention to detail that didn't go unnoticed (again).

We have two little girls who often look at food suspiciously, so we ordered a series of starters and sides to hedge our bets and try and get something down them. Tapas style if you like... Their compliments on the food came thick and fast, as did my wife's. I had a king prawn main - the name of which escapes me, but it was a show stopper to look at and to taste. The prawns were clearly fresh and cooked to perfection - and so big I thought they were more like lobsters.

Prices seem reasonable. My one bit of constructive input would be a simple chocolate ice cream offering would have satisfied my eldest who went without desert not convinced by the Ferrero Roche ice cream offering and too old for the Mr Egg ice cream (who my littlest is still playing with)

So, there we go; wordy old review. But wanted to give the place a deserved shout out. Go there....

Would not even give it a one star Went with some colleagues to have dinner/business meeting come all the way from London the customer service is appalling it was shocking as I was speaking to the owner who is a young lad clearly does not know how to speak to his customers no etiquette whatsoever I have never been so offended or so upset with some of the comments and remarks that were being made I understand it’s a family run Business as I have business in the industry and I understand what it’s like but talking in your own language which I understand because I am also of Bangladeshi origin is just not on I did not confront him as I am not there to train. A young person on how to run a business never in my life have I wanted to get up and leave a place food was great can’t complain this happened a few months back but it’s only recently I have started dinning in another Indian restaurant I spoke to the owner regarding this particular business and he said many customers are saying the same thing and they are not the same ethnicity as me I love helping businesses thrive by dinning and supporting but I will never ever be spending my money on somewhere that made me feel like this it’s disgusting definitely won’t be seeing you at the curry awards sir fix your attitude there is plenty of Indian restaurants around the area please look elsewhere if you don’t...
