we went on a Fri daytime first time . We ordered a cheeseburger and milkshake. Medium size, which was perfect. The lady behind the counter was helpful patient and seemed to enjoy her job, rare these days. The burger was tasty like omg real meat, not that rubbish McDonald's fake burger stuff. Loved different topping. You could have bit like a subway idear for topping. Milkshake was great, although I wish they had told me it came with cream. Lady did remove it for me when asked. Service was quick. Bill is reasonable. Now, for the only thing that let it down badly and was going to take two stars off, but maybe it will be resolved. The toilet....never have I ever seen such a disgusting toilet not even in a mucky pub or service station. And it was the same toilet for men and women. It's not great when you're desperate 😕. Also, not confidence inspiring when it's a place where food on the same premises makes you question if the kitchen is dirty? Although to be fair, our food was cooked in front of us. Really think this needs addressing and such a shame as otherwise would have been 5 star rating

OK, so ab update to my review.

I am going to deduct a start

As revised today Service from Ian and lady didn't catch name He wasn't interested on the phone. She had attitude when I received my milkshake and advised it was just milk, no ice cream or flavour. Instead of resolving or refunding . Had attitude of well. it's got 2 scoops!!! In other words saying am lying or not prepared to resolve Not why to get repeat custom at over £23 an order!!!!!

We tried one more time after this, and I do not know what's happened???? From having an initial experience of a 5* burger, then having two negative experiences. We will now not visit again. The third time, the burger smelt like it was off or had come into contact with some sort of cleaning product I think the salad hasn't been rinsed or wiped out, and the residue was transferred onto the food.

So again we left....binning our food...

I think this place needs a shake-up weather the faults with staff...

I went today for a quick lunch. The inside is nothing special and didn't feel very clean but to be fair there was only one member of staff there. She was lovely but busy with making food and serving so didn't have chance to whip around the front of house.

I got a medium bacon beef cheeseburger which is two patties and you get to pick your own toppings and sauces (alike to urban burger or suburb in Doncaster) I got lettuce, mushrooms, and blue cheese sauce.

The wait time was reasonable considering the food is fresh so only around 5 minutes. About enough to pop to Gregg's for a coffee which the nice lady let me drink in.

The burger was really nice. The beef patty was well seasoned and cooked nicely with a little pink to it which is my preference and was juicy. The bun held up well and is toasted. A little over toasted maybe but with brioche they do brown quickly. I really liked the blue cheese sauce

Knocked a star off for the canned mushrooms. I hate canned mushrooms they're beige with no flavour and a watery texture. I was quite disappointed the mushrooms weren't fresh and grilled.

Forgot to order a dip which is 30p extra so ate the chips without one but they were really good and seasoned with salt and pepper.

Overall I really enjoyed my meal and thought in comparison to the similar concept restaurants in Doncaster that I'm familiar with, it holds up okay. Just please get rid of the canned mushrooms. Just don't offer them if you can't...

What an absolute joke of a place. Ordered delivery through their own app, 2 hours later no food, made a phone call and was told they had no orders outstanding so it must be out with a driver, apologized to me etc. 40 mins later still no food, but now they dont answer the phone. 15 calls later no answer. Thankfully i live local within 10 mins so I drove to the place obviously quite annoyed and what can only be described as the cretin behind the counter is the last person who should be employed in any customer facing role. Arrogant, foul attitude, vile. Worked in customer service and management myself a long time and if she was one of my employees id have fired her on spot. Tells me she cant issue refunds and I have to wait for the guy in charge who is out delivering to get a refund... not what you want to hear after 2 and a bit hours plus a drive on a Saturday night... eventually the guy turns up and I get refunded but honestly what a joke. Never ever ever go here, place deserves to go out of business and surely in time it will with the way they are treating...
