I recently visited Kebabish Original in Rotherham, and while there were some positives, there were also areas for improvement. Here's my honest review of my experience. Starting with the positives, Kebabish Original offers a decent selection of kebab options on their menu. The variety of flavours and toppings available cater to different preferences. The portion sizes were satisfactory, providing value for money. However, I was disappointed with a couple of aspects of my visit. Firstly, the chicken in my kebab was dry, which affected the overall taste and enjoyment of the dish. It was evident that the chicken had been overcooked or left out for too long, leading to a lack of juiciness and tenderness. Additionally, the menu seemed outdated, lacking some variety and freshness in terms of options and ingredients. It would be great to see more innovative and contemporary choices that reflect current culinary trends. Furthermore, the atmosphere at Kebabish Original felt outdated and in need of renovation. The interior decor and ambience did not create a vibrant or inviting dining experience. Updating the atmosphere could greatly enhance the overall dining experience and attract a wider range of customers. On a positive note, the service was satisfactory, with the staff members being polite and attentive. They took my order promptly and ensured I had everything I needed during my visit. In conclusion, my experience at Kebabish Original in Rotherham was a mixed one. While they offer a decent variety of kebabs and the service was satisfactory, the dry chicken, outdated menu, and outdated atmosphere were disappointing. My girlfriend and I went to try this place out. The opening times on Google stated a 4pm opening time, but this is inaccurate. It opened at 5 pm, so we had a 1 hour wait until it opened. Not necessarily the shops fault, but maybe a member of the management team could set about updating this?

However I digress, what's important is why we came...the food!

We ordered a chicken curry with madras heat levels and a standard lamb curry. 1 Pilau rice, 1 garlic naan, 1 butter roti, and chips with poppadoms as starters.

The only thing we both did not like where the butter rotis. I think we were expecting more of a Ghee flavour, but it was a letdown. The "butter" flavour just didn't fit in anywhere and wasn't nice at all. Avoid these.

However, the rest of the meal was faultless. The taste that emanates from the dishes to your taste buds is packed full of flavour. The aromas start you salivating before anything touches your lips. Delicious is an understatement! Glorious.

I think the price came in at under £30 and considering the flavour,quality, and quantity, I would consider this to represent good value for money.

In addition to this, the staff were attentive,efficient, and polite. Although they could have been quicker to approach once we took our seats, a small observation.

Visited K.O Rotherham very first time on Sunday 16th June 2019 in Rotherham and was very much disappointed. First of all the table wasn't clean and was all sticky, asked the the staff to clean which he did with a dry tissue paper. One of the staff member put 2 bottles of suaces on the table which weren't very clean and had a suace outside on the bottles. Ordered some food which was served completely unprofessionally, lamd karahi was served in a small plate with a table spoon (suppose to be served in a proper serving dish & serving spoon) there was no garnishing only lots and lots of oil. Lost appetite by just looking at it. Peri peri chicken was hard and no taste. Overall no presentation, no cleanliness, no professional service at all. Never going back ever. I'm really surprised how people have given good reviews, might be this is how people are used to...
