Ellies Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rotherham

I have no complaints about the food , but I have been a customer of this place for over thirty years and I am disgusted with the staff ! Although we are aware of the difficulties during the lockdown , we rang an order in on their first opening evening delighted that they were open . We were told it would be an hour , fine , it's worth waiting for . But no , we rang them an hour and ten minutes later to be told we were next , twenty five minutes later , I rang them again ! After I had corrected him twice , I am Mrs not sir , he continued to call me sir and said, it's on it's way . Yes , we received the delivery , yes it was as nice as it always is , , but to wait an hour and forty minutes and be repeatedly called' sir ' , I am furious . The owner is a cracking bloke , but his male staff need a lesson in manners . I doubt I will get a reply , but I think in future I will think twice about...

Very rude new owner and food is sub- standard, I ordered a chicken kebab last night, when it came it looked uncooked and when I pulled it apart it felt not right and uncooked , and tasted cold and raw when I bite into it ,I phoned and complained to the owner he said he will send another one out but only if I give him the other back which I told him it was bagged up and waiting for driver, he then called me back saying theres nothing wrong with the chicken what i sent back & not to order from them again.
