Update August 2024, went for the buffet breakfast advertised at £7.49. This is a good deal in my opinion. I replicated the advertised and got it almost perfect, on another day tge eggs may have looked better. Quality if ingredients was spot on. Tasty sausages, runny yoke on the eggs, bacon nice and thick and quality beans. You can keep going back for more if you need to. I added a coffee for extra £2 and again refills are included. Nothing has changed in tbe Decor in the last 2 years and this is a let down as its a dark theme which is very out of date yhese days. Staff are smart polite and helpful.we arrived around 9am Saturday and the place was empty, that was a bit of a surprise surprise considering the value on offer. It is definitely worth going for, service starts at 8am. Monks Bridge Farm is located between Dinnington and Laughton Common. This is your typical carvery style pub with plenty to offer on the menu. On this visit I chose the Farmhouse combo feast at £10.49. This came with chips, coleslaw and a sweet chilli dip. There was nothing to complain about but nothing to say the food excelled in any way. The pub itself has a good layout with the kids area away from the main drinking area with adequate seating for all group and family sizes. Decor is ok for the style of pub, seating and dining area was clean with no noticeable stains or patches anywhere. I did a midweek visit at 6pm and there was plenty of people eating so that should be a good indicator of quality and/or value. Lots of carpark space available. Staff were pleasant, polite and smartly dressed, attending to your table at just the right time where other venues get it wrong which is very annoying. Overall I just think it's a standard Carvery pub but it just has the edge on others due to location, size and Staff quality. If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs...

I recently visited Monk's Bridge Farm and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The carvery is definitely the main attraction and it didn’t disappoint — the meats were well-cooked and flavourful, and the selection of vegetables and sides was spot on. You can tell a lot of care goes into preparing everything, and it’s a great place if you enjoy putting together your own roast just how you like it.
It does get very busy, especially on Sundays, so if you're planning to go around lunchtime, be ready for a bit of a queue. That said, the staff were friendly and efficient, and things kept moving without too much hassle.
The only thing that let it down slightly for me was the Yorkshire puddings. While they looked great, they were a bit too dense and lacked the light, crispy texture I’d hoped for. A small detail in an otherwise very good meal, but worth mentioning.
The pub itself is clean and family-friendly with a welcoming atmosphere, and there’s plenty of space to sit once you’ve got your food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and fancy a traditional roast.

Read moreI was so disappointed when we visited your establishment on 13/05/25 with my 2 children & my friend & her 2 children. We arrived after celebrating my daughters 1st birthday a few minutes before 6 only to be told we couldn't have food because they was stopping taking orders at 6 due to staff training they'd be closing at 7 but we could order drinks as drinks was OK to be served till 7. This wasn't advertised anywhere & granted we didn't book but it was a Tuesday evening we assumed there would be no need. Anyway the children was hungry especially the birthday girl & the other one year old so we asked if anything could be thrown together for them off the carvery that was all still laid out to be bluntly told NO WE STOP SERVING AT 6 as I say we arrived before 6 granted only by a few minutes but still before 6!!! Wr decided to make the best out of a bad situation get some drinks & get the children a sandwich from the nearby petrol station. My friend went for the sandwiches I ordered the drinks with the children one drink was coffee she told me no coffee because they close at 7 for staff training I relayed coffee was a drink so why not she went onto say that's just what they was told. Anyway we sat outside on the tables with the soft drinks, ate a sandwich & sang happy birthday. Then a woman appears & tells us we was fine for now but they needed us off the premises by 6.50 as the close at 7, again we was disgusted but complied all the same.
The shockingly poor customer service we received was just crazy!!! We hope no one has to go...
