Had a bad day experience a while ago but decided to try them again, still disappointing food & overpriced… the chef seems put out out when he gets an order!! There is one girl who works in there (Tall, Thin & Tattoos) and she is amazing, smiley, attentive and hard working… if she is not one of the owners she is wasted there!!

Reply. As I am unable to reply to your response I have had to edit my review. At no point did I raise any concerns with any staff, so there was nothing they could do to resolve my complaints or have any conversations that could have been considered being rude to anyone. Most staff were very busy doing their Jobs, so you are either lying to try and save face or you had complaints from someone else!!! (So this says more about you and your business than it does about me!) I could have quite easily have got into conflict when I heard the chef talking about me in a negative way whilst in the toilet but to save ruining the other diners very expensive meals I chose to say nothing! You are very aggressive in your responses and was exactly the same when I had the issues before when you stalked me on Facebook and started sending me private messages. I honestly have no idea how you are managing to stay in business… fair to say I won’t be...

After researching to find a place with good reviews and a suitable menu to visit with our daughter we were left disappointed. It's a lovely little place, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our order and this would have been an ok time to wait if the food was good when it came. Sadly, it wasn't. My daughter ordered American pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, they came obscenely large, over cooked and dry, we asked for extra syrup and were offered yoghurt as an alternative but it didn't help. My husband had a Rosti dish which was very salty and the poached eggs were over done and hard making the dish dry and unappetising. I had sour dough toast with smoked salmon, avocado and poached eggs the salmon was lovely, the avocado absent and the eggs over cooked and hard so again a dry dish! Such a shame. We probably ought to have made a point to raise all our concerns with the server but having already raised the issue with the pancakes and the ladies being really busy we chose not to...

I have visited today, experienced absolutely terrible customer service, ended up paying for the food I left £15+ without eating as it was served to me like I was a dog, along with side of sarcasm and condescending comments from the server. The older women as served me had a terrible attitude problem and no understanding of customer service. I only used the cafe as it was dressed up or appears to be a high quality establishment from the outside, but that quality stops at interiors design obviously. It’s a shame as I own several large businesses in the area and usually recommend such places to my team and associates, but as my service experienced was so incredibly badly delivered to a poor standard, I’ll have to make sure that this experience is well reported both on Google and within my social network groups… I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!! I recommend my followers to find somewhere that has staff that care about customer service even if it costs more or if less convenient on the face of it as these people don’t...
