Fika Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Rotherham

Just been here on Sunday am and it was very busy. We were immediately served with our drinks but then waited 30 mins before we then asked where our food was. We were told its on its way. Another 15 mins later and we asked again where our food was. We were told you are next. By this time we had long finished our drinks and eventually another 10 mins later our food finally arrived. So I asked the waitress what had been the problem and she said can't you see we are so busy. Basically NO customer service at all. No apology or explanation. They need a better system and to ensure the drinks are served with the meal. Service needs to be more friendly and not so cold and indifferent. The...

Came today with my friend. Lovely little place. Staff are so friendly and the service was excellent. Ordered Mediterranean quiche and a latte. Coffee was lovely, it's so hard to get a decent coffee that comes scalding hot, this didn't disappoint. Was disappointed with the quiche, pastry was nice but the filling was literally roasted veg, no egg/milk filling which are the basic characteristic of a quiche. More of a tart. The filling was tasty but just veg that's all and the coleslaw was too chunky and rather dry. The cakes and pastries looked delicious so I'll try one of...

Went to Fika for a 60th birthday party today. Its the first time they have ever opened up for a party, and they nailed it with the food and service. The staff always kept on top of the tables, making sure to clean up whenever needed. The buffet was truly exceptional. Great quality food, and way too much for all the guests to eat. We were all sent home with a tray full. Not much space for the young ones to run riot, but we managed with the kids that were there. Staff were friendly and professional throughout the whole visit.
