Having eaten here tonight, I have left feeling absolutely discussed and unvalued. We booked a table several weeks in advance and requested a high chair for our daughter, shortly after arriving they said unfortunately they have none available as they only have 2 in the whole restaurant. I explained that my daughter will not sit in her pram to eat and I would not expect her to have to especially in a restaurant of this quality and so I explained I’m going to have to go back home to bring our own in which the waiter seemed very uninterested and said there’s nothing he could do. After arriving back 20 mins later luckily with only living quite local not 1 person came over to apologise for the inconvenience and even after paying the bill did the waiter who I had spoke to earlier come over to say anything, we spent £160 ! on what was a nice meal but i feel extremely unsatisfied that not even a round of drinks costing £20 was offered for any inconvenience ! A restaurant like this with only 2 high chairs I feel is pathetic when you can pick them up from IKEA for £10 !! But not only that good quality customer service costs nothing and a feel a place like this should value customers a lot more as after this experience I will never be returning to spend a penny of my money...
Read moreWent as a group of 8, a friend 60th birthday celebrations, food lovely, 4 of us had starters, they were fine but main meals were tremendous. Us 4 men all had calzone full of ingredients and very tasty with a lovely tomato topping , 3 of the ladies had the same dish, chicken in a creamy garlic sauce with pancheta, my wife had seafood tagliatelle including prawns and muscles. As i said the food was lovely but in my opinion a bit overpriced for what it was. As the waiters cleared the plates away 1 of them accidentally hit 1 of the ladies flush in the teeth with a heavy plate. He couldn't apologise enough, it hurt her but she didn't want to make a fuss, the same waiter then brought her a half of lager as a means of apology. When the bill arrived we obviously paid and left a decent tip, 1 of the ladies asked politely if we could av a shot for the birthday boy, you wouldn't have thought with the money we had spent that 1 little shot would be a issue but 1 was eventually brought to the table. I know times are hard for everybody but I can probably say in such as Turkey or Spain all the table would have received a...
Read moreOh, Divola, Divola! I’ve tasted this pizza from the rustic streets of Italy to the dazzling lights of Dubai, and let me tell you, W Italian’s rendition stands tall above the rest. The crust is nothing short of a masterclass, and that fiery kick? It’s like a little Italian nonna decided to throw in an extra dash of love and spice.
The staff here? Phenomenal. Chatting with them felt like catching up with buddies from that unforgettable summer trip. Genuine, warm, and full of stories.
The décor transports you straight to an upscale villa overlooking the Amalfi Coast. However, a small suggestion for the management: a tad dimmer on the lights, please? The ambiance is almost perfect, but when the patrons around you aren’t exactly runway-ready, softer lighting might be a blessing.
In summary, an absolute gem of a dining experience. Left with a satiated appetite, a bunch of new friends, and an urge to invest in mood lighting. Cheers to W Italian! 5/5...
