Clifton Cafe is an absolute gem in Rugby! My partner and I are regulars here for breakfast, and we truly can't recommend it enough. The food is consistently delicious and made with care.
I’m especially in love with their Turkish breakfast – it’s fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. It’s something you don’t find often in Rugby, and they absolutely nail it. My missus swears by their Eggs Benedict with bacon – a rare and welcome twist, since most places only serve it with ham. The fact that they offer this option shows they really listen to what customers want.
What makes Clifton Cafe even more special are the owners. They’re always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you. They go out of their way to look after you and make sure you’re comfortable. It's clear they care deeply about both the food and the people who walk through their door.
If you're in Rugby and looking for a fantastic breakfast spot with a warm, friendly vibe, Clifton Cafe should be at the top...
Read moreI am not going to rate the food because I have not eaten there nor do I plan to go as a customer in my life. Yesterday I went to pick up an order and I went directly to the counter. The girls in the kitchen asked me for the order number and when I confirmed the number they told me that in 10 minutes it would be ready. Everything is normal until the waiter arrives and tells me: "this area is for customers only, wait outside." I have been working in England for 5 years, more than 9,000 deliveries and I have never received more despotic and humiliating treatment than the one I received yesterday. I just grabbed my thermal bag and waited outside. The same person brought me the order, I accepted the order and concluded that order. neither complain nor confront him. What is my surprise that after I leave there the guy gives me a negative rating! You are definitely a disgrace and you should not under any circumstances work in front...
Read moreI went here under old ownership and the breakfast was one of the best ever. Today it just tasted oily and left me feeling a bit sick after. Reasons below Beans: Ate these first they were not hot enough, barely warm.
Bacon: no way has they cooked this fresh it was tough as old boots with texture of beef jerky.
Sausages: these are probably the cheapest sausages they can get their hands on, mushy and soft. Pork content can be no more that 10-20%. I am sure the sausages a few years back were of higher quality. For ten pound expect better.
Plate was oily and full of grease and tbh for 10£ not worth it. Service was strange as well with at least two people arriving and ordering after me getting the same...
