Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

Literally our favourite place in the village to spend time as a family. We come to eat and drink. But we get a lot more than this. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I feel sorry for the staff as they are only working with what they have. The company should invest some of the profit they make back into the business. More staff should be on during busy times. The decor is a bit dated and could do with a sprucing up especially as there are more coffee stores opening locally that have a much more modern feel. Again this a company issue not a staff issue. To say the service here was terrible would be too kind. Painfully slow! The lad that took my order was slow as molasses. I told the young lad I didn't want cream, and guess what it came with cream! I chalked it up to some miscommunication, so he took back the drink, and just got a spoon an scooped the cream out and handed it back to me! At this moment I knew it was going to be like pulling teeth dealing with someone as inept as this, I went on to explain that I want a NEW drink and he looked at me as if I had done something wrong! Uniquely one of the largest and most impressive Costa outlets in the area by far. Always immacutely clean, great vibe with plenty of outdoor seating and a glazed frontage that is perfect to sit and watch the world to by! All the staff are very attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk into store, the manageress Jay has been instrumental in making her Costa the go to destination for friends, clubs and families alike, making this the destination point hub of the village where people can meet, chat and enjoy (of course) fantastic coffee and fresh quality savouries and cakes... not just food.."M&S food" too!
