Ordered a halloumi wrap and a salad bowl. The halloumi wrap only consisted of halloumi, a white wrap, lettuce and tomato. Then it was absolutely drenched in the “house sauce”. It was very sickly and I could only eat half. We also got the halloumi salad. This was very nice all with fresh ingredients - but again it was completely drenched in the house sauce which is extremely sweet and vinegarey. The atmosphere and man serving us was perfect, he was very friendly and welcoming. We just felt that paying £18 for 2 items including a very very mediocre wrap couldn’t be justified. Both items just seemed to be drenched in this house sauce that wasn’t at all nice. The salad and wrap would be 100% better is there was just a drizzle of sauce on the top - not a gallon of sauce shared throughout. As I have said, the server and the atmosphere was a 10/10 - it’s just the wrap needs some rethinking as it is not worth £8.50. Furthermore, it said that I would come with olives and pickled veg and I got none of that (may be because we chose to takeaway). Such a wonderful place! We have recently moved to the area and discovered it by accident as we were driving past. It’s a lovely independent café that also serves 10/10 food at a very reasonable price. You can tell that all of the ingredients are high quality and that everything (even the bread!) is home made. I had the tuna melt which was outstanding, especially the bread baked with nuts and fruit, and my girlfriend had the halloumi wrap which she said was the best she’d ever had. The sandwiches came with olives and homemade hummus (the best hummus I’ve ever tasted, plus the lovely staff working gave us a free bowl of the soup of the day which was a solid 10/10. This will definitely be our new local coffee...

We cam here regular for loaded toast which was two slices, in one month they put the price up from £8.50 TO £9.00 and cut the portion size down by half to one sluce cut in half! Served on a tea plate! Their friend came in ordered the same he recieved the two slices on a normal plate, I'm sorry but favourable treatment and prices up portions down and greed loses customers! No way of complaining and the staff serving did not understand me! We will never be back appalling how greed takes over quality!
