Woody's Takeout — Restaurant in Rushmoor

I don’t know what’s happened to this place.

We used to love it!! But unfortunately something has changed. the last few times upon ordering it has been late, we’ve let it go because we always liked the place but tonight that has changed.

The lady on the phone told me 30-40 minutes wait time. I said ok, fine, then payed for our order.

We have been at work all day so we’re hungry. 50 mins pass, I decide to phone to see if it’s on its way worrying it’d be cold. The lady then didn’t want to deal with me, I’m not sure her English is that great, so she passed me over to her mate and he spoke to me like a piece of s*!!! Basically said I’d barely been waiting 30 minutes and basically called me a liar said they’d never say 30/40 minutes waiting time. (I know what she said!!!!) if it’s busy just say. Sorry it’s busy, do you mind the waiting longer than normal. You’re not letting people know how busy you are, so how am I supposed to know?

Already upset with how the conversation went due to the poor customer service. the food turned up 90 minutes later. The bunn wasn’t even toasted, the chips were soggy and cold and the cheesy garlic bread we ordered was just plain garlic bread. I decided to phone them back up and they said they’d redeliver the cheesy garlic bread, but I won’t hold my breath.

I don’t know what’s happened to this place but I will never be ordering again, apart from the bad customer service and the terrible serving of food. You clearly can’t cope under pressure.

Learn some manners when dealing with customers, learn your staff to tell the customers the right times and learn how to strive when under pressure with orders.

This is the 3rd bad order, mixed in with the terrible customer service that’s now sadly done it for us.

A fine establishment.

Woody’s takeout has been on my radar for quite a while as a good friend of mine keeps recommending it to me, so I finally gave it a shot.

Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes at all. But as soon as I walked in, I was met with this 90s homey vibe inside the shop. The workers were super nice and attentive. When I asked for hand gel he gave me tissue with it both times! It’s just the small things like these. We ordered the single platter and it was sublime. The hummus is a great touch! I love the uniqueness of this place, the food was quick and it was amazing. Try dip the chips in the hummus! The prices are so affordable too!

The fried wings were amazing too, they were so crispy and beautiful cooked & seasoned. I come from London so I am quite the chicken shop connoisseur if I do say so myself. But this exceeded all expectations and beyond. I shall be revisiting here again.

Fantastic Food and Atmosphere at Woody's Restaurant

I had the pleasure of dining at Woody's Restaurant Aldershot recently, and it was truly a memorable experience. The service was top-notch from the moment we sat down. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure every detail was taken care of. They were also happy to offer suggestions from the menu, which was a huge help given the tempting options.

The food was outstanding! I went with the chicken strips rice with a milk shake, and it was cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of flavors. Every bite was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. My dining companions also raved about their meals, so it’s safe to say the whole menu is full of winners.
