Continental Pizza — Restaurant in Salford

I've ordered from this takeaway couple times a week for over a year and never had a problem UNTIL NOW, i order the same everytime as im really fussy with my food,there is now a guy who answers the phone doesn't understand what your ordering and you have to repeat yourself numerous amount of times. I ordered earlier this week I thought the order was received correctly by the guy on other end of the phone.... When the order arrived the garlic bread with extra tomato base ( which I specifically asked for over and over) came with the smallest amount of tomato base on you could imagine. I rang to complain and was told next time I order they would give me a larger tomato garlic bread because of the inconvenience as I order all the time and don't want to lose a customer. Tonight I ordered the same as I always do and mentioned about the upgrade they offered me they gave me the upgrade but was garlic bread and cheese which I have never ordered ever plus with less sides as what I ordered as well. I rang to complain AGAIN( 2nd time in a week) and the same guy (who obviously doesn't understand English) answered the phone still didn't understand what the problem was (obviously doesn't know the difference between TOMATO PUREE AND CHEESE) I asked him for the manager which I was refused and then when I said forget it he hung up on me!!!

Today was my first actual visit to Continental Takeaway after a long time of ordering delivery from them – and it really made a difference! The reception was very elegant, from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The guys at the desk were respectful, polite, and had a smile on their faces. They asked me if it was my first time there and told me about some offers and suggestions. It was clear that the management cares about the quality of their customer service, not just about the excellent food I'm used to from them. I visited this place expecting a decent experience, but unfortunately, it was far from it. I asked them to make a pizza with their own recommended flavour — no customisation, just their suggestion. What I got was a basic, average-sized pizza for £10, and I was shocked at the price for something so standard.

When I politely questioned the cost, I was brushed off with no proper explanation. It wasn’t just about the money — it was about feeling misled and not valued as a customer.
