Greggs — Restaurant in Salford

Staff 5 star's, shop appearance 5 stars. Area Management 1 STAR. The staff here are excellent, always busy taking care of customers in a friendly, polite manner. Shop recently renovated to a high standard. Extra till added making three total. Always short-staffed during busy morning hour's. Most mornings now big line of customers waiting to get served. Only one serving until line hits door. Then someone helps to get line down for a few minutes. Line was out the door literaly this morning between 10am and 11am. I try to get breakfast here every day but waiting time is too long now. So miss most mornings due to large amount of people waiting. Gregg's management please send more staff for morning shift. No point having 3 tills and nobody at two most of the time. I saw several regulars like me walk away again this morning as we don't have time to wait as we are working. This is not a problem due to existing staff as they are all working hard. Gregg's to stingy to pay for an extra staff member and losing loads of business from hospital staff across the road who cannot...

Nothing has change, staff member with glasses rude again! Lazy and can not be bothered making up more sandwiches they sell out off. Lady on the till was very sweet and polite. Glasses lady, can not be bothered, looks like she hates her job, cannot be bothered with customers.

Poor! Nothing in the hot counter for breakfast, asked for Vegan sausage breakfast roll and got told 20 mins wait, advised I did not mind waiting, basically got told no. They could not be arsed! They could not be bothered, especially Debbie who shouted very brash across the shop I can’t I have got too many orders!!! Such awful customer service, why advertise something you cannot bothered to do. Always the same here. Take things off the menu if you want to be lazy...

Just Greg's! How I wish Greg's maintained the hot or warm pastries all the time, even during off-peak hours. They're cold; I tried to eat the chicken bake or steak, and, oh my gosh, I couldn't swallow. I ended up throwing the food away since I didn't have a microwave because I was walking and feeling hungry at the time. Why can't Greg's put out a warmer to keep them hot or warm? That's the only reason I want to buy from Greg's because they're tasty and of guaranteed good quality. Off-peak, I have no interest in going there because I'll be disappointed.
