The Dutch Fish Men is a Double Decker Bus parked opposite the G Casin on Bury New Road in Manchester. Serving eat in or takeaway food. A wide range on the menu mainly dealing with Fish meals but they also do a range of Burger meals as well. On the Sunday afternoon I visited there was a steady queue of people eating in and taking away. I ordered the Double Chicken burger and Cheesy Chips at £7.80. The waiting time was 40mins but on this day the line just got longer and longer. The food came piping hot when it was ready. Tasted nice, Burger had  wchicken breast, hot sauce and a bit of salad. Chips came with 2 dips, chilli and garlic and a bottle of water. The venue was clean and tidy and the staff were well presented and offered a good service. I would eat here again. If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs up for others.

Over-Hyped?? I “PRE-ORDERED”, waited 5-10 minutes and then drove 15 minutes there only for them to start cooking my food when I got there and gave my order number. Usually I’d never complain about fresh food but it made me late for Asr prayer. Onto the food itself, the cod bites and the prawns lacked flavour, bit greasy and I relied on the sauces to make it better. The cheeseburger was your usual chippy burger, nothing wrong with that when it’s only £6.50 for a meal however the chips were awful. The mild chilli sauce is up there with one of the best sauces I’ve ever had, it made everything taste a lot better. Definitely overrated but it was worth trying

In terms of experience, a definitely a unique one as you can eat in a bus - that said, this experience wasn't great especially considering staff took order and totally forgot about me as I had to go down after 10mins and my food was just gathering dust and staff not sure about my order. In terms of food, it was nice 8/10 until found a hair. Also chips were frozen, not fresh cut. Owner must focus on customer service delivery and hygiene for improvement.

Made an order on Friday 27/04/18 to be delivered at work. We placed the order around quarter to two in the afternoon and the person advised us that it will take 45mins to an hour to be delivered as it's busy. I accepted this. An hour went buy and I rang to get an update and the person on the other end of the phone said that their car had broken down and would take further 20mins and again I was ok with that. 30mins gone and no food so I rang and firstly the guys didn't know what my order was then quickly realised I rang again and he said the delivery driver is on his way as he left 10mins ago. Waited another 20mins and no show. Rang again and he said he is just 5mins away, I asked the guy if he will compensate us for the time that was wasted and he didn't give me an answer. Anyhow I waited another 5 mins, no show, I went to nearest spar and had to get a crappy sandwich. I didn't even bother calling to cancer my order. 15mins after I've got my sandwich I get a call from the delivery driver saying the food is here. It was too little too late. Sad thing is first time I ordered the delivery driver got lost by atleast my food came within an hour..never again.

P.s I read the similar review that their car broke down whilst trying to deliver food on just eat few days...

DO NOT BE DECIEVED

Where to begin. Like you, I read the reviews and thought 'oh! 4.5/5 stars! And ranked as deliveroo's choice! Must be good!' Oh boy, how wrong I was.

To begin, food came more frozen than the the sea that the fish swam in, I'm talkin shiverin in the box. We're not even going to mention that we got like 5 measley, shrivelled, exoskeleton lookin prawns too - that was the least of our worries...

Rocks, is the first word that comes to mind when I think of the chips. Seasoned with the fresh air you find outside (aka a non-existent taste)

I swear they dunked that poor cod in cardboard juice and deep fried it in battery acid - and even that sounds tastier than it actually was.

Was it a rat, or a cod idk

Calamari? Those circular horrors were so tough I thought they were auditioning to be the 6th Olympic ring.

The excess drain water esqe mushroom juice that poured out brought me back to my childhood in africa, where fresh water was scarce, but at that point you'd take anything you could get - so you would drink from the local watering hole... probably where Dutch Fisherman souce their malnourished fish fillets.

To conclude, my stomach is currently plotting its revenge—probably involving me running to the bathroom every 10 minutes. WOULD...

Mouthwatering the most fresh fish and chips I’ve come across. Fish and chips is a massive food options when considered in Britain and I have tried a lot of chippys however this fish and chips joint set-up in a double decker bus with its own parking allows foodies to either sit outside and enjoy the meal or enjoy the meal on the very comfortable seats they have on the upper deck.

I was introduced to this place by friends and they don’t have a huge range of options but that is good because it means everything is freshly made. The portions are a very good size and normal at chippys the crust hold a tiny amount of fish inside which can be disappointing but the size of the fish was big and the fries were topped with chilli powder (optional) with a selection of sauces.

We ordered three of the same options and they were all alike and the consistency of the taste and presentation was pleasing.

I would definitely go back for a cheeky...
