Kickair — Attraction in Manchester

I personally do not reccommend using any of this awful companies service. From all of the low star negative reviews, I can verify they are 100% accurate. The company and its staff have a 'I don't care attitude'. All you need to do is read the replies to the reviews, which will confirm some of my issues.

When addressing my issues the so called duty manager, instead of diffusing the situation and coming to a compromise, he was was rough, unprofessional, rude, arrogant and patronising with a massive I don't care attitude".

I very wrongly and will never forgive myself for allowing myself to book my daughter's 8th birthday here.

Due to extreme heat and high temperatures, I rang this company 3 times of the week running up to my event, and asked if there is air conditioning, and was told the arena itself doesn't [fair enough], but the party rooms do, as the birthday cake was buttercream, hence the A/C question.

As soon as I arrived into the arena, no party room had been allocated to myself or my guests, the arena itself had 3 parties on going [one of which was leaving upon our arrival]; thus we could not use the "whole arena" as paid&confirmed for. The children under my event were unable to make use of all the facilities especially the football area, as it was over crowded by other party guests.

We were taken upstairs where the heat was the most hottest and humidity was 0%. The adults were complaining to me, making it embarrassing. I asked the "party host" [who would be invisible half the time] if they have any additional rooms that are cooler, as believe me the temperature where we were seated [15 children and 10 adults] was roughly 40C, if not slightly higher. The whole event was a shambles. Slushes were ordered to the party host recommendation - many of which were sent back as the kids had different preferences

I was then informed the party rooms do not have air conditioning, but had cheap blowers, which if you can understand did not help slightly. The air coming out of them was warm!! And on top of this, we were rudely told, that if we were to take party room 1; the company would not accept any liability for any accidents due to the floor being slippy [hygeine is another major problem - avoid the toilets are cafe].

The children did not enjoy the party at all, mainly because of how uncomfortable they were feeling from being out on the arena, and then walking into a sauna - they were literally dripping in sweat. Some of the kids were bullied and hit whilst out on the arena, and when addressing this issue, all we got were confused looking faces, shrugging of shoulders and being told "just move I can't do anything" , all whilst these so call staff acting like hooligans and were super hyper!!

It's a scam and a money making company who do not value or respect you.

I have many other issues to address, but, due to confidentiality issues concerning other cases and parties, unfortunately I cannot disclose.

I rang the director of this company; although I appreciated his time, I instantly felt and knew nothing will be done, and yet wasting my time. Even writing this review I thought of it as a time waste, but no, we all pay for a service, and anyone attending this place needs to know what the staff are like here - gossiping to other colleagues about our issues too, all whilst I was behind them!!

DO NOT BOOK YOUR CHILD’S PARTY AT KICKAIR MANCHESTER – THEY RUINED MY DAUGHTER’S 5TH BIRTHDAY

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start because I’m STILL shocked at how badly this place messed up what was supposed to be a special, once-in-a-lifetime day for my daughter.

Let me be real with you — if you’re planning your kid’s birthday party, AVOID THIS PLACE. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the heartbreak. They promise the world, but what they actually deliver is chaos, silence, and a complete lack of care.

We were told the host would handle everything — keep the kids engaged, run games, create a fun vibe. Instead, we got Dalenn, who didn’t even say hello to my daughter, let alone wish her happy birthday. She didn’t smile once. She didn’t talk to the kids. Didn’t lead a single game. Didn’t even try. When I asked what was going on, she just shrugged and said “the kids don’t listen.” Are you joking? That’s your job — to engage them. To make them listen. It felt like she didn’t want to be there at all.

And get this — no music. That’s right. A birthday party... in total silence. The atmosphere was honestly depressing. I had to stand there thinking, “Is this seriously it?” It felt cold and awkward. I was embarrassed — not just for my daughter, but for the other parents too, who were clearly thinking the same thing.

Then came the safety video, which was so badly handled it was actually worrying. Half the kids and parents thought it was over and started walking off. The host just stood there. No explanation, no effort to check the kids understood. These are five-year-olds. Safety isn’t something to casually wave off — but that’s exactly what happened.

To top it off, they messed up the pizza order too. I confirmed multiple times that we were supposed to get three Domino’s pizzas. We got two, and one cheap café pizza as a “replacement.” No heads up, no apology. Then they pulled the drinks away before the kids even finished. What was the rush? It was just another thing that made the whole party feel like we were an inconvenience.

And the worst part? When I complained, I heard NOTHING. No call. No email. No follow-up. I had to chase them down. And when the manager Naeem finally did respond, his tone was flat-out dismissive. No real apology, no care, just a cold “as per my last email” and basically told me to take it to court if I wasn’t happy. He even tried to throw other people’s positive reviews in my face as if mine didn’t matter. What kind of customer service is that?

They even admitted the host needed more training — but too little, too late. That doesn’t fix what they ruined.

Let me be clear: Kickair Manchester does not care. Not about your child, not about your experience, and not about fixing their mess-ups. Once they have your money, that’s it. You're on your own.

If you want your kid to have a party that’s actually fun, safe, and properly run — go to Bounce Central UK. Way better vibes, better staff, and cheaper.

Their claim that I gave positive feedback is misleading — I gave 3/5 stars under pressure. That does not excuse their failure.

I requested a refund because the service I paid for was never delivered. The manager’s dismissive tone and attempts to invalidate my experience say it all.

The manager, Naeem, eventually responded with the most condescending, passive-aggressive tone imaginable. No real apology — just “as per my last email” and a cold “take it to court if you’re not happy.” He even tried to throw other people’s positive reviews in my face — as if that erases what happened. Is that someone you'd want to deal with when your child’s party is...

Well where do I start, firstly I should point out the equipment was amazing and the staff are actually doing their job on there and shouting instructions to keep the kids safe unlike at other places where they are just comparing backflips or whatever.

However the customer service leaves little to be desired.

We booked a leavers party for our primary school leavers in July. 19 children attended having paid £23 each for unlimited juice and water, pizza, slush and ice cream. The party was supposed to start at 5pm, they told us to be there for 430pm. They didn’t let our 19 kids watch the safety briefing video until 5pm despite them all being there and hanging around while another group went in before us. They therefore got to use all the equipment at 5:10pm. At 5:40pm some of the kids were getting a big thirsty so returned to their VIP party room, no drinks had been put out so parents had to find staff and wait around for jugs of juice and water to be put out. Between 19 children the 4 jugs of juice and 1 jug of water were drained within minutes but were not replaced until parents found staff, again, and asked for refills.

Food was served promptly at 7pm, pizza from dominos and 1 hot dog. Unfortunately they did not announce anything over the speaker so parents had to run around and find the kids to let them know the food was ready.

There was 1 member of staff in the room to distribute these 4 pizzas and make sure one lad got his hotdog. This didn’t end well at all, he literally gave out one slice at a time to each child and despite this some kids got 4 slices, some got 3 and some got 2. One poor lad was in the loo so when his mum eventually found him and got him to the party room there wasn’t a scrap left! Whilst speaking to management to try and sort either a bit of money back or a hotdog or sandwich for this lad a member of staff gave 4 free pass tickets to a couple of parents and told them to pick the 4 most deserving kids to give them to! Actually unbelieveable!!

The manager refused even a small reimbursement for the lad who got no food and certainly wasn’t keen to offer any more food.

Upon the rest of the parents being told about these 4 tickets for the most deserving kids, we asked for more, 19 children had paid £23 each to attend this party, plus a tonne of drinks and food being bought by the parents yet the manager said he could not give any more vouchers out. He later admitted that he had plenty vouchers, he just did not want to give any more out!!! Thinking it was only fair these 4 vouchers were offered to the lad who didn’t get any food, understandably his mum refused them as she wouldn’t be setting foot in there again!

Needless to say the tickets were ripped up, left on the floor and 19 kids will not be returning, not to mention their siblings, friends etc.

A really disappointing end to what could have been such an amazing night.
