I went to this cosy place with a few friends and spent hours there. I was impressed by the knowledgeability and friendliness of the bar staff; the familial feel was extended to all patrons and we enjoyed ourselves in relative comfort. I have always liked rustic looking places and this one ticked the boxes for me- the beer labels on the ceiling, the stools around barrel-themed tables and I also liked the pictures of the dogs with their names attached. Some customers did bring their dogs in and I spent a few minutes trying to see if they were some of the pictured dogs! We did not eat while we were there so I am unable to give much context on what is on offer. Unfortunately, I don't drink so my views are based on what my friends said about the brews. I know that they enjoyed the "Ice Cream Pale", I'm not sure if they tried the "Track & Field" in the end. I asked at the bar if they had fruity cider - the bar lady said they didn't. My friend pointed out that they had kopparberg on display and the woman said they didn't have any.
