The Spinney — Restaurant in Sandwell

We live over the road from the spinney pub. Its not a massive pub but its not small. There is a bar with tables and chairs so u can eat in this area. Its a good size. Then theres the lounge were u can relax and eat in there. Again its a fair size. Its always clean when we have been over. We do always go into the lounge and have our food there. If there was a few of you going 2 drink and eat the tables r quite long so u can all sit together. You look at the menu. There is a good choice of indian meals. You order what u want in the bar at the food counter. Tell them were your sitting. When its cooked staff bring it 2 your table. The food is in individual dishes so u can put what u want and how much u want on ur plate. We have been and eaten her quite a bit and we have never been disappointed in the food. It has always been delicious. If u cant eat all of it then u can ask for a tub 2 take the rest home with u. And any naam bread thats not been eaten. We have done this and the staff were great about us taking the rest home. The staff are pleasant. They are helpful. They come after a few minutes of you receiving you food 2 ask if everything is ok. They ask when everyone has finished if they can clean the table. You can stay were you are then for as long as you like. No one asks you 2 move.. The Spinney also do a service were you can phone in your food order they tell you how long it will be so then you can just go and collect it. I would recommend the Spinney if you want a beautiful curry. Well worth the money. There is a decent car park. Our friends come from Tewkesbury 2 have a curry at the Spinney. They said its the best they ever had. They have had a few themselves...

Update: after another visit...more or less empty and waited an hour. They had given food to someone else. Called us a liar. Didn't offer an apology. Was very rude and not organised. Will not be every going again and would not recommend. Food might be nice, but pointless if you don't get it and if service is rubbish. What a shame its let down by the people.

One of the best mixed grilled I've had in a while. The fish pakora was amazing. Will defo come again. Cooked from fresh and not warmed up like others. Can taste...

It needs updating but staff are very polite and friendly the food is very hit and miss the naan are so soft so nice probably one of the best but the mixed grill is heated in microwave it hasn't got the fresh taste no crispy skin to wings masala fries and chilli fries need to make chips fries don't taste as good and don't hold the flavour as well I think for where it is they getting away with it but one opens near and is better I don't see many people...
