What a lovely pub! Only discovered it whilst passing by one day, and it has quickly become a firm favourite!
Very clean, very friendly and an impressive range of ales available, including various guest ales. When not sampling a guest ale I usually opt for Fireside, a Black Country Ales staple that doesn’t disappoint.
Live sport is shown, which is great, although happily it doesn’t dominate or spoil the traditional local feel of the pub. Keeping the volume at a modest level definitely helps achieve this.

Loads of room outside when weather permits and a heated outdoor seating area for when it's a bit chilly. Place is very clean, toilets are fantastic, beer selection is excellent. But... why is everything so expensive? Standard Carling lager is at least 50p dearer than in most of the local pubs, Starpromen nearly £1. My friends and I drink here regularly but a night out here costs £25 - £30 more than at most...
