I stopped in at Aberdour Bistro this morning and was genuinely impressed. Although I only had a couple of coffees on this visit, the quality was excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care using top-tier beans. The bistro itself is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a lovely relaxed ambience that makes it an easy place to linger. I took the time to browse their menu and there are some fantastic-sounding dishes I’ll definitely be coming back to try. It’s always a good sign when you’re tempted by nearly everything on the list! Another standout feature is that the bistro is dog friendly—a real bonus. Several customers were enjoying breakfast with their four-legged companions, which created such a warm and inclusive vibe. It’s the kind of thoughtful touch that not only welcomes more visitors but shows that the place genuinely understands its community. Wishing the team every success—they deserve it.

Quaint little coffee shop and cafe. The menu was surprisingly broad with hot and cold sandwiches, soups, and salads. We had the chicken and bacon hot pressed sandwich with the soup of the day as well as the tomato and cheese hot sandwich with Americanos and sparkling water. I would definitely recommend stopping and watching the cars go by if you are in this area to tour the castle or enjoy the beach. You won't be disappointed.

While waiting for a bus, I decided to grab some cake. However, I missed the bus because it was the best place on the Fife Coastal Path so far. It was a very clean place, and the lady at the counter was really friendly and helpful. I ended up with a huge pile of food, including an amazing soup and a surprisingly large sandwich. And all the food was tasty! I hope to visit this place again to try their cocktails.

I'd previously posted a review after enjoying lunches here on three occasions. I recently visited again and lunch was every bit as good as before. Great food and well looked after by Harry and his hard working team. Highly recommended! Back again for lunch in July (and another visit to the castle). Every bit as good as previously. Delicious 'Roasted Veg' soup, Mushroom Stroganoff (just right amount of 'pepperiness'), a slice of cake and a flat white coffee. Oh, one of their refreshing Mocktails - I had to rehydrate as it was so hot (I also had water)! From Matt in the kitchen to all 'out front', great and very...

It is a spot with a super atmosphere with great coffees (it is Illy). However, the stsndard of food can be improved - butter with rolls and bread and a better avocado favouring - and I'm afraid the service is below par: csme in for coffee and was ignored until we had to summon waiter who helped someone entering after us. Once cappucino were ordered nothing came for 5 minutes and seeing person after us having been served we decided to leave...disappointing...
