   Read moreNot good. In the pub for at least 30 mins before we even got a drink - despite informing/ asking staff if we could eat outside. No menu, no service. Eventually had to go and check if we needed to order at the bar! Once ordered food arrived pretty quickly, and it was tasty, but portions for main course bore a striking resemblance to starter. Very confused by the protocol here as one table told they would need to order at bar; next one had waiter taking orders at table. Also upset by smokers on pavement - plenty of signs asking smokers to refrain in this area, but not heeded. Even more confused by the fact that the rear beer garden would be a much nicer area to eat, leaving the front area available for smokers, but not the case, although full marks for actually offering an outside area to be smoke free. Disappointed that they ran out of our particular gin after 2 drinks as well. Value for money? Perhaps not. Friendly staff? Yes, but clearly to busy to stay on top...
