Four of us went out for an evening meal and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The place is smaller than expected but big enough to cater for larger groups easily. The staff were warm and inviting and helped us with our coats. A great start. We weren't rushed to order either food or drinks and were given plenty time to check the menu which was well organised and had really good descriptions of the dishes there. The food was great. Really well presented and tasted amazing. The spice levels were just right with one of us preferring milder food. Honestly a well prepared and tasty set of Currys. Although calling them Currys is a poor way to describe the diversity of flavours and textures that exploded on our tongues. The nann breads were the best I have ever tasted. Cooked to perfection. The starters were not huge, (not tiny either), but the perfect size as an appetizer. The restaurant was full but the staff had it under control and no one seemed flustered or rushed. I recommend this place whether you're a tandoori fan or not. They cater to all tastes. AND, Not expensive. Give it a try I don't think you will be...

The place is very popular and I highly recommend booking in advance before you visit, otherwise you might be disappointed being unable to get a table and having to eat elsewhere - we've had that happen before, so lesson learnt, we now book a day in advance.
The food is fantastic and good value for money, especially if you buy the chicken tikka masala, as it comes with either pilau rice or nan bread. The desserts are really reasonably priced at £3.50 to £3.99. I can highly recommend the after dinner mint sundae!
The staff are very efficient, friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Kirkcaldy.
My only gripe, is the restaurant is small and the booths are very cramped, especially if you also have shopping bags with you. It is worth visiting early, as it gets busy quickly and the atmosphere can quickly become very noisy.
I really highly recommend this place for great food and a great service. ...
Read moreA long lived Indian on a high street with little footfall and tight competition. Decor is straightforward and its two rows of (seats 4) booths and bigger movable tables up the middle for larger parties. Peak times need a reservation. Decent buffet or a la carte. The buffet has a limited selection but is fresh and has a good turnover. Expect British Indian staples Korma/Tikka/Madras etc. Poppadoms etc. 2 buffets include a large sharing nan. Its sensible to not have a vast buffet of unsold or dried out food. They dont - but the range is a bit limited for the more adventurous. The a la carte is a different matter. Cobra on draft. Service efficient and polite. Take away is good too. Bills are small and it scores highly for value. I've never left disappointed. Loos downstairs. Annoyances would be sitting near the front door and getting the draft as people arrive for takeaways on a cold night. The back door -where theres brief parking- opens into the small area where the buffet is served....can get crowded. Otherwise its a winning formula and we...
