The Robert Nairn - JD Wetherspoon — Restaurant in Scotland

I have visited here for many years. What once was a very busy place, with many young customers 4 deep at the bar waiting to be served, is now very different. During my last visit yesterday (Sunday) the place was fairly steady, but it was like an old working mens club. They have introduced very small high round tables close to the bar, which are a out the same size as a large pizza. They are just not nice to sit at. One improvement since my last visit was that there weren't as many empty tables littered with empty glasses,young for hours without being cleared .. On the plus side, they do still serve a great pint - but don't expect a smile from the bar staff.. it's obviously not included in the price!. The overall experience here is worse than any other Wetherspoons I...

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Ava, and I must say, she made our experience truly memorable! From the moment we arrived, Ava greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening.

Her attentiveness was impressive; she checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Ava’s knowledge of the menu was also noteworthy—she made excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes.

What stood out most was her friendly demeanour and willingness to go the extra mile by accommodating our special requests, Ava handled everything with grace and efficiency.

Overall, our experience at Wetherspoons was enhanced significantly thanks to Ava's outstanding...

Does the job... If you have very low standards for food and service... Otherwise I would suggest to avoid at any cost... ate 5 times there and every time I had indigestion from this food... Half cooked chicken strips (coating not holds to meat, meat cold inside) loaded fries (fried at least 3 times in very dark fryer, covered with barely microwaved chilli) I can count as long as menu is... and contrary to popular belief it isn't so cheap as supposed to be... and service: at lunch time understaffed so don't count that your plates and empty glasses will be cleaned during your stay (2hours), employees rarely smiles (looks like they been punished by working there) and dirty cutlery and glasses topping up the picture of this lousy...
