The was one vegetarian/vegan option chickpea chilli and the soup was roasted red pepper. There was no sandwich option other than just not getting the meat. I has eggs Benedict without the ham and I got exactly what I asked for. It was delicious I can't fault the quality if the food. My husband had Bob's famous fry and thoroughly enjoyed it. My chai latte was beautiful smooth and creamy. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the noise. It wasn't pleasant dining experience, nice music but too load mixed with chatter from other customers. It wasn't a place I would choose to go on my own for coffee and cake with a book or my paper or for lunch. That and the lack of options for other dietary requirements left me disappointed. I admit can ask to not get meat on my meal but I did say I was vegetarian and wasn't directed to any options and that's a real shame as I don't notice the soup until I had paid. Overall huge menu delicious looking food but with such limited option I'll probably choose somewhere less noisy where I can have a quiet conversation over...

You have to look at the huge board behind the counter, which I was struggling as my eyes were tired, especially as its so big and the queue was long so I felt I was getting in the way and looking like a weirdo standing next to the queue squinting behind the counter. I decided it was not for me and walked out to find a restaurant with an actual menu. If you don't want to print physical menu's why not at least put a QR code link to the menu on the tables?
Also if you want to login to the wifi they want you to review the restaurant first, I don't login to the wifi as I am leaving a place, you do it when you arrive, so how can you review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in for breakfast during the summer holidays after being turned away from the Cow Wynd for arriving at the advertised opening time.
I had the veggie breakfast and a milkshake and my wife had the pancakes with bacon and a tea. We were the only people in there but the service and food were very good and the sausages on the veggie breakfast were a refreshing change from the usual offerings at other places. The only criticism I would have was that we appeared to have sat at a table that hadn't been wiped properly on the previous shift as there were bits of salt across it - no big deal though. Each table along the wall has a USB plug socket which I would make use of if I were a younger, more fashionable person. It was quick and good value for...
