Two of us went for food last night.. Wasn't busy only 1 other table in.. Starter.. Pate.. Was OK no dressing on salad.just raw onion and pepper on top of a lettuce leaf.. We ordered beef n ale pie and gammon.. Both came with fries🤔egg was over cooked brown on edges.. No seasoning or any butter on veg tails were left on veg aswell.. . Just boiled and bland..frosen pie lid wasn't even brown raw all the way through.. Asked for more gravy.. Was told the only gravy they had was in the pie.. 😂😂When we were finished empty plates were sat by us for 15-20 mins..wont be going back

Was in on Saturday night for Food outstanding is an understatement & the chefs are very highly skilled I asked our server who the chef was & he said that the head chef was in today with his team food is so fresh & colourful! Definitely doing something right with the food here the best in falkirk!

The service was okay the only thing is we felt sorry for the very friendly man Ryan I’m sure his name is felt like he got left with doing the restaurant himself while his team of 3 plus the bar manger standing behind the bar drinking coffees while the restaurant was extremely busy that was the only down side to my experience at icons bar & grill

Once again thank you to the head chef & his team & Ryan you guys...

Top marks for Icons. It looks great inside with nods to local history and landmarks in the decor with a traditional feel yet still light and airy. We didn't have long and asked if there would be enough time for 2 courses and the staff made it happen without it feeling rushed. Two pints, soup of the day and haggis bon bons to start, steak pie and a lasagne for mains and it only came to £35, and that wasn't a special. That was great value in my eyes. There was a 3 courses deal which I think was £15.95 and the choices were decent. The staff were really friendly, checked in across the meal, and deserved their tip. I booked a table for 6 people in advance & specifically asked for a table. I was told I would get that table as I was the first to book. Upon arrival when inquired about it. The person said that due to a bigger group we were not able to get the table we booked for. Which completely beats the purpose of the booking as we booked it for the music stage view. I also had a confrontational staff saying there was no way I could of booked that table. When clearly I had. The staff who booked it for me was behind the bar. I suggested they go speak to her if they did not believe me. Completely disgusted with staff & unsure if I will...
