It's the first time I tried Cafe Mariana and I have to say I was very impressed. The food is fantastic and the staff are amazing. We were having a family get together with 10 of us. 2 of which were young children. One is under 3 and full of energy. It was getting later in the evening and the little one was getting restless. One of the wait staff came to our table and offered to take the kids out to an area in the back that they could play while we finished our meal. Everyone of the staff treated us with the attention to detail you would expect from the owners. We were all very impressed and we will definitely be going back on a regular basis. I live out of the country and will for sure make it a must visit on my trips home. Everyone enjoyed there food and had the same...

What a rip off! Be aware! We were asked for a £10 per head deposit when booking a table at Mariana in Kirkintilloch but unfortunately only 4 out of the original 8 people were able to make it for the birthday celebration. When the bill came, only £40 of the £80 deposit originally paid was taken off the total, so we were charged £40 for absolutely nothing. No explanation never mind apology. Added to this there was a scribbled note on the door saying their card machine was out of order so payment had to be cash only. Really? The one star I gave in my review was for the food which I actually enjoyed but in reality a small bowl of pasta cost me £50 instead of £10. I will not be returning and neither will any of my friends. Spread the word. Mariana charges customers...

Few weeks ago 2-3weeks

went to here , heard mixed reviews some about the attitude of staff and food not being on time still went and tried it

pizza was horrible , however pasta was amazing

Most of the staff were fine apart from one with an attitude aswell

The way they spoke to an older person like me was shocking and the younger boys next to me same attitude

The owner was absolutely shocking the attitude on her and had no care in the world was shocking walking about with an angry growling dog face

then was absolutely disgusting towards us!

Would not recommend not an authentic Italian

Atmosphere was rubbish

Tipped well and yet left with a grumpy owner

Would of been a 7/10 in my opinion if we weren’t left disgusted...

Everything is a 10/10. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and I haven’t had a pizza quite like that, the cheese was nice and stringy the pepperoni was great. Also had a side of Cajun seasoned fries and bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Cajun chips were perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing. The bread was nice and warm and soft fresh as well. Atmosphere was amazing we sat in the beer garden, lovely décor gorgeous place. Service was a 10/10 everyone was so lovely and had a great attitude. Food came fast only waited around 10-15 minutes and everything was fresh. Recommended to everyone

I've had takeaways from here before. The food is good. This was my first time in the restaurant though, and although it wasn't terrible, it really wasn't that great either. It's very small and they have plenty of staff but the service just isn't very good. It's not bad, but little niggles here and there and having to ask for everything - it actually got quite tiring by the end of our visit so we didn't bother with dessert. Food is good though so just be prepared
