Had an amazing lunch at this newish place on Maryhill Rd, a location not really known for its international cuisine, but it feels like the Moroccan owner's labour of love.
Delicious food. We shared three main courses which were £6 each but were slightly bigger than you'd expect for the price. We were starving but it's good to know these things.
Zaalouk, an aubergine dish made with a tomato and garlic sauce and served with warm toasted Moroccan pitta bread. The texture of the bread was really good with a crispy surface and a soft centre. You have to taste it to know what I'm talking about.
Chicken shawarma inside a toasted pitta with some tasty sauces and some harissa for an extra kick. Big portion too.

Lots of other very appealing dishes and authentic Moroccan cakes. They also serve some non-Moroccan dishes. The prices are reasonable and this feels like a real find of a place. They deserve to do well and we will...
