Booked a table online weeks before the Scotland England game and specified on the booking we were there to see the game. Received a confirmation a short time after. A week or 2 later I called just to make sure the booking was confirmed and that they were showing the football. At that time Glasgow was in level 3 so was told that they had my booking and that as long as they moved to level 2 the football would be on.

A week before the match I called again just to check as I knew everywhere was fully booked and there were 4 of us. When I called they firstly couldn’t find my booking then when they did I was told there was no view of the TV. I explained that I had booked weeks before and actually called to confirm it as well as receiving an email. The girl said that she couldn’t give us a table as people had ‘ paid money’ to get a table with a view. I explained that there was no option whatsoever online to pay a deposit, unlike other pubs. I asked if she could speak with a manager and try to sort something. She said she would call back. I also emailed, sending my confirmation showing we had clearly asked for a table to see the football . Never received a call or email response.

We then had to try and find another pub which was almost impossible as every pub was booked up. Eventually managed to get a table in The Botany in Maryhill road which was excellent and I would recommend to anyone. Staff that actually provide good service for a start. Really disappointed in Brew Haus. It would only be common...

Was here for a private function, we had booked the whole upper floor for a social event. Unfortunately the venue was playing loud music constantly and this made conversation very difficult. The staff would not turn off the speakers on the upper floor, so half of our group ended up splitting off outside, it was a miserable atmosphere. In addition the weather was extremely hot that day, nobody's fault. But the Huge air conditioning unit they had for this purpose was installed wrongly, admitted by a staff member on site. It was venting it's own waste heat back into the room, completely failing at cooling the venue

Finally, the place was woefully understaffed, orders took forever so libations were not flowing freely. And no app based ordering so you had to go stand at the huge crowded bar to get anything. The orders got so backed up that they refused to take food orders for a long time. They couldn't just write it on the end of a list, they made me physically return later to place my order, waiting in the queue both times

The pizza was pretty nice when it did arrive, the one bright spot of an otherwise horrible experience caused by...

I like this place and decent drinks and food but at times you see the bar staff are a bit to into phones than service. The below is today but it's common when coming in for food.

Had lunch today and 2 staff at bar and 2 in kitchen, was fairly quiet under 20 customers. Our food was ready and kitchen press a small bell and left under a heat lamp. One bar staff serving and other on phone. After a while a staff member walked past kitchen and did not see our food sitting under heat lamp. Had to point this out to them to get it Then table next to us, same happens and they went for their own food. Neither of the tables got cutlery etc and had to sort themselves.

Kitchen quiet so no idea why the 2 staff can't bring food. Bar staff district on phone and not hearing the kitchen bell.

Overall it's a nice bar and the food is fine but the staff are a bit overly comfortable on phone etc rather than serving.

However once the bar got busy the service sped up for other customers.

I would go back but any time I am there the service...

While on the hop on/hop off bus, I specifically hunted down this legendary pub, when I was 1.3 miles away. As soon as you step in the door there's a sign that you've found the famous pub from the first Trainspotting movie. I took some pictures, met another fan and we both got drinks to take upstairs to drink where the lads drunk. It was an awesome experience & I even took a video of myself bopping about then putting Born Slippy music on the vid. Lovely beer garden, too.. I came along for one or two drinks and ended up staying for a few hours. I highly recommend a visit if you're around Glasgow and you're a fan of the movie.

This place is amazing. I've been wanting to go there because of the movie, and I had such a great surprise to see what a nice place it has become. Many delicious food options, cold draft beer, and the wonderful decorations, specially the ceiling - I just loved it all. Service is also top notch, the team is always friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect place to go with friends or even on a date. On the mezzanine they have a pool table, and I saw that they do quiz nights and also happy hours with discounts for food and drinks. I'm looking forward to going back. Their Instagram page has many great videos too.

Went looking for this wee pub due to trainspotting connection. Was quiet when we visited greeted by friendly staff and nice atmosphere and music inside. Had a couple of games of pool and a few drinks.. the out door area is nice with heated drink sheds gives a little privacy or comfort if you worry about covid. Would have given 5 stars but for a beer house there was not a great selection of beer on tap and only a couple of cocktails on offer would like to see more options. Definitely worth a visit and liked all the little reminders of trainspotting and photo opportunities
