Food was excellent as usual but very disappointed in seating. On arrival was shown to a table to the left of the entrance which is totally separate from the main dining area. It had 3 tables, all empty. I asked if we could be seated in the main dining area. Was advised that there were no tables for two available but a party was due to arrive for the table beside us so we wouldn't be sitting in isolation. This did not happen and we were still the only diners half an hour after arrival (8.30). I looked at the main dining area at this point and there were at least four unoccupied tables. As I had already asked to be moved, it would have been nice to have been offered a move when it was obvious that there were several tables available . These remained unoccupied for the rest of the evening. Part of the experience of eating out is to enjoy the restaurant ambience. Had we wanted to eat alone we could have stayed at home and not had to look through the kitchen door from my dining table. It would have been nice to have been offered an alternative considering I had asked to move. As stated, food was great but overall experience was...

We popped in without a booking on a Sunday night after a long drive and were met with such fantastic service. Our waiter Blair was soo friendly, made some great recommendations and made us laugh a lot! The frito misto was a great starter, huge fresh bits of fresh and a delicious garlic and parsley sauce. We also ordered the asparagus with pancetta which was so nicely done with another great sauce. The fresh pasta dishes were phenomenal! Between our table we ordered the slow cooked beef and tuscan sausage ragu which had so much tender meat and a delicious rich sauce, the rigatoni sinatra (crumbled italian sausages with loads of roasted peppers and chilli in a tomato sauce) and the fettuccine pollo piccante which was my favourite. This was spicy chicken in a creamy parmesan sauce with a right kick of chilli! For a complete accidental find we had such a great meal and would definitely come back if we were travelling down to Glasgow from the...

I've been previously and it's somewhere I would of always recommended. This is the first time I have had a poor experience. The set menu options in my opinion were quite limited. Our starters took over 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. My starter was soup of the day. The rest of the table also had to wait a long time. The starter dishes stayed on the table until 2 minutes before the mains arrived. I didn't find the staff as attentive as I have done on previous visits. The food i recieved wasnt great eithier. It was just a big bowl of pasta with very chewy and off putting prawns in it. Unfortunately one of the waitresses was quite rude to me and my wife and I had to bite my tongue as we were celebrating someone else's occasion. The waitress was pulling faces and acting quite childish tbh. I hope that it has just been a one off. I would like to think I will visit again one day. It won't be anytime...

Ordered two tuna salad sandwiches, latte, two cans of juice and biscuit to take away. Sandwiches in large take away containers with side salad and lovely creamy coleslaw. Provided With napkins, plastic cutlery and salt and pepper sachets which was nice. However the let down was the bread for the sandwiches was going stale and the crust was hard and dry. Was hungry so managed to eat the inside of the sandwiches and left the outsides. Extremely disappointed as the main item was stale if this had not been an issue I would be giving 5 star review. Pity let themselves down with serving stale bread.

Nice early evening meal. Went to old favourite in Paisley. Given early evening menu which is set price for 2/3 course. Food arrives quickly, is hot, seasoned correctly and as described. Meats cooked perfectly, generous portions although salad undressed. Drinks are varied and wine menu has nice classical Italian varieties. House wines (by glass) are really good and priced well. Staff friendly and patient with kids. Surroundings well presented and clean and peak in open kitchen showed a very clean and organised area. Will be back as always
