Had an early Sunday dinner here with my sister and 2 year old nephew. When I booked on their website the only option was Sunday roast however this wasn't the only option we were given when we got there, they were happy for us to choose from the regular menu too. I've got to take a moment to mention the kids menu, which was really well thought-out. We went with the "picnic" which was fries, ham, cheese, carrot and cucumber sticks and apple slices. This was just perfect for a kid his age and suited us as it meant he could pick away at it while the grown-ups had starters and main courses. We have dined in the restaurant on a few occasions and if I have to be totally honest, I think it's actually got better. Manorview, the company that owns this hotel not only have the place looking great with being well maintained after 10 years since reopening, but the service was perfect and the food was of high standard, eight of us ate and with drinks, £240 including grat, cheap as chips (excuse the pun).
