Chocolat blanc — Restaurant in Scotland

I visited with my mum and 4 month old baby today for coffee and cake . We were made to feel very welcome. It was a treat to actually have table service when only having coffee, particularly with having my child with me. I had a chai oat latte with a shot of coffee and it was so nice. I have tried a chai latte in many coffee houses and this was by far the nicest I have had. I had one of their homemade caramel crisp slices and it was absolutely delicious. Was passing by here after dropping my car in for repair, and saw this place. I popped in the next day with my wife, we were greeted with a lovely smile, and the service was great. We ordered, a latte, a cappacino, the carrot cake, and a strawberry tart. All the cakes are made in store, and just melted in your mouth. I have never eaten a pastry on a tart like it. It crunched then melted in your mouth. Upon leaving we grabbed some chocolates and they were sensational. Will definitley be visiting more often now. A total gem...

Lovely cosy place, it was very busy when we arrived. We had a slight wait for a table, which was well worth the wait. The coffee was expertly made and one of the best I've tasted ( I do like a good coffee bean ) also had a strawberry tart, which was delicious and freshly made on the premises. There was an array of handmade chocolates, which again are all expertly made on the premises by the owner. Will be back to sample more delights and the coffee when I'm back...
