We got: Giant mozzarella stick Classic fries Marinara, mozzarella, fresh buffalo mozzarella & basil slice Buttermilk fried chicken & pepperoni 20" First of all, I don't know what we were thinking ordering a 20" pizza as well as sides ( but the leftovers made for a nice dinner the next day. Classic fries were delicious, had a nice seasoning. The mozzarella stick was nice but as l've said in previous posts, I just prefer a regular sized mozzarella over these huge ones that are trendy right now. Anyway, it still tasted good but at £6.50, I'm not sure it's entirely worth it. The slice was pretty tasty, nice sauce and the crust was lovely as always. Now onto the main event. I enjoyed this, good flavours and along with the chicken and pepperoni there was a chilli honey which was really nice. And of course the crust dipped in the truffle and garlic aioli as well as the chipotle mayo was incredible. Civerinos is a great little spot in Finnieston, I'll definitely be back at some point to try more as I love that they do slices. I'd also say that apart from the mozzarella stick it's pretty good value for money as the portions are really big and the food was delicious.

Went in for a quick bite, so jumped straight into a wee slice. The menu for single slices isn’t as extensive as I’d hoped it would be, but still plenty of choices such as the Detroit square slices that are pictured. I got the nduja with pesto which was flavourful and interesting (as well as drowning in cheese) and the other pictured is the pepperoni with hot honey. Both were solid slices and tasted even better with the ranch dip. The chips were incredibly crispy and very well seasoned (even tasted good this morning, cold!). The decor is very fun and relaxed, and since we were a wee bit later there was no queue and got seated easily. My only qualm was that the pizza took quite a while to reach us, where I thought the slices would just be flying out! Regardless sipping away at a nice coke and smelling the pizza fumes kept me entertained enough until the crispy slices arrived. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive so cannot fault the place at all! Thanks so much for a delicious meal, cheers :)

I had been desperate to take my son here after tasting a massive pizza in the House of Gods in Edinburgh. Shame we were both really disappointed. I had an artichoke slice which I couldn’t even slice with the wooden knife. The bottom was inedible as it was rock hard so I had to peel the top off and eat that. Less than ideal. My son had the Italian sausage and pepperoni which he couldn’t finish due to the amount of pepper on top. He loved it except for that. I tried a bit and I would said it was sloppy as the sugo was so wet and yes it tasted like the pepper cracker popped open on it. Shame. Staff were really lovely. I left with a very bad taste since one 14 inch pizza and 1 slice cost us £29! No drinks so sides (£1 sauce). To wear that cost of a very dissatisfying pizza feels like I’ve been robbed. Will not be returning. Much better value, pizzas literally anywhere else - paesano etc.

Edit: Unfortunately had a really bad experience, 3rd time we’ve visited Civerinos since my first review and we were really looking forward to the USUALLY mouthwatering pizza & ordered a side of fries - Placed an order at 19:15-ish and was told that it would be ready by 20:03 - walked in to the restaurant and seen 2 large pizza boxes sitting in a bag to keep them warm, still standing there at 20 past 8 I finally see one of the boys stick some chips in the fryer. Server comes over and apologised for the wait, gives me the pizzas that have been sitting for I’m not sure how long by now, and I leave. Absolutely fine, things happen and people run behind. Drove 45 minutes home, opened my pizza and when I say it was black, I mean BLACK. I’m fine with people running behind, but the whole time I was waiting the chef making the pizzas must have screamed “WOOOO!” maybe 8 or 9 times trying to act funny to the ladies that were serving (who were lovely I might add btw) I would suggest if he spent less time acting like Rick flair and more time concentrating on the pizzas, I wouldn’t have wasted the money and time making my way through . An absolute shame as it was quickly becoming my favourite pizza spot but the chef completely ruined the experience, we wont be back unfortunately - I’d still recommend the other locations! Just definitely not Finnieston

3/5 because of the first couple of times and the girls serving being really nice. I’m just not wasting hard earned cash again for chefs that can’t...

Really glad to see more pizza spots in Glasgow, especially ones with good options and sides and dips etc.

I’m chalking most of this up to being busy and stretched on their first weekend but our experience was average to not so great.

Waited 30 minutes for a table which was all good, the greeter was lovely, got seated and didn’t get menus for about 15 minutes.

We ordered and most of the pizza options we wanted were sold out. Then they became available to the table next to us about 10 minutes later, I guess you just have to get your timing right to get what you want.

When we did get our food we got a side first after about 15 minutes, my partners pizza arrived about 15 minutes later thereafter, then mine another 15-20 after that. The wait for food felt long and it seemed like the staff and kitchen were struggling.

When it was all finally on the table, the margarita pizza I ordered was fairly uninspiring, it was soft, floppy and pretty bland in taste, I’d ordered it to come with Parmesan on top but they forgot. The pepperoni slice I got was pretty good and I’d probably go for that next time if going for a whole pizza.

Once we’d finished the bill came to over £60 with tip.

I definitely feel this place has promise with some tweaks and refinement, I’m keen to see how it progresses and think it can be a really cool spot, but in all honesty I won’t be...

Visited the Glasgow branch with my wife yesterday evening around 8.30pm. The place was more or less empty but tables were still dirty, was told to come back after 20 minutes so they could clean a table waitress was just rude I think she thought we would just leave and say we didn’t want the table.

Upon ordering was told that the Detroit slice wasn’t available, on a Friday evening I was just very surprised. We went for the New Yorker style 14 inch pepperoni pizza and the gnocchi as a side.. Gnocchi was ok nothing special could have done with some seasoning, in my opinion far too big a portion looked like a sharing platter so some weren’t crispy as described. The pizza itself was ok nothing special. Definitely not like the pizza you get in New York. And the sauce was overly sweet. In a whole don’t think I’d be back food and restaurant where just average at best and the toilet facilities were dirty and graffiti all over. Also to note I ordered a bottle of water and was told they didn’t have any. The first restaurant I have ever been to that had no bottles of water

Came back on the 21/3/25 this time got a Detroit slice my wife got the New York slice. From the base, sauce to the ingredients the pizza was delicious. Don’t know if there was a different pizza chef on but I would definitely go back after the...
