Boutique 50 is at best a stylish B&B. All style and no substance. Room was lovely very stylish however the bathrooms are a bit odd, the shower was an electric power shower and not very powerful and the sink was very tiny so hard to use. My main gripe was breakfast. The website says: Our menu ingredients are sourced from local suppliers using the finest Scottish ingredients. We support local businesses, and by being our guests, you help them with us. The reality was a selection of processed food, bar a bowl of fruit. I wanted to feed back to the hotel manager but was told she was at home, since coming to the hotel the only staff we had seen were two young lads, no one seemed to have experience in hospitality. I asked to call the manger and had what can only be described as an argument, the lady was immediately hostile and unapologetic. When I stay at a hotel I am looking for hospitality, I can get the rest at an AirB&B the there was zero hospitality at Boutique 50. For the price of our stay I am, as you can probably tell, very...

What a wee find! Booked this as it was close to the OVO Hydro. Loads of places to eat close by and lots to do ( Kelvingrove Museum). Liked the idea of the Record players in the rooms as we love our music. They have a wide selection of music to choose from, which was an added bonus! Staff were really helpful. Young Connor booked us an Uber to take us to our restaurant booking and told us what was close by as well. In terms of pubs, coffee places etc. Breakfast the following morning was fab. Although it says continental don't let that put you off, as loads of choice in terms of what was on offer. Close to the West End and loads of quirky/independent shops around. Not too mention the Kelvingrove museum which was amazing. We were there in Dec and they had an organist playing at 1pm. We grabbed a coffee and sat and listened to beautiful music, in outstanding surroundings. So if the West End of Glasgow is where you fancy staying, this place...

Stay here if you can. Don’t bother with other places in the area. Clean, smells amazing, cozy, friendly and enjoyable. We felt incredibly safe and if you need a hotel where you just need to rest this is the place because it’s also walking distance from the university and the museum. Also, they are incredibly accommodating with allergies for breakfast which so far on our trip we have not experienced till staying at boutique 50.
