Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

The five star on service is for friendliness of staff other than that Costa is so overrated. My usual place for a latte sells it out of a machine for a pound and it is much superior to Costa coffee, unfortunately it was closed this time so against my better judgement I went to this Costa for a latte, my last Costa visit was Stevenston and it was revolting and the Saltcoats one was the same. Cold, flat and undrinkable, at nearly £4 you certainly expect a decent coffee but every Costa I have been to the coffee is disgusting, never again, as I said overrated...

I like this coffee shop. I’m not entirely sure that the building shape bests suits a normal Costa Venue as it is dark and cavernous at the back and difficult to get a mobile signal. However, the friendly efficient staff more than make up for this minor difficulty. The service is fast and the coffee is the usual good stuff. I like the cakes myself. Popped in the other day with my 13 year old daughter who wanted to use some money off of her gift card. The lady who served her was lovely, very friendly with her and kind. She ordered an iced peach tea and we sat in so she could drink it and have a chat. The seating area is lovely and comfy. I had a sip of the iced peach tea. It tasted like cold stale tea, it was horrible. Costa Saltcoats maybe make your drinks nicer.....not as if...
