Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Revised 2 star review- Had another issue with a Costa order placed through Just Eat. It was a special occassion and I thought Id treat myself to a coffee and my partner a cooler drink. The driver never arrived with an order. The staff member I spoke with this time around advised of the refund process but just kept restating that it was not their responsibility and that he was busy trying to do lots of things. The customer service leaved much to be desired this time around as the employee did not seem to empathise. I fully understand that the failure lay with the absentee driver but at the end of the day a costa customer(sleep deprived father of a 3 month old baby) is at the end of the process and this store have chosen this company to do their deliveries. There were better ways to handle this situation, perhaps this employee would benefit in some customer service training from the supervisor in the original review below. Phoned up and spoke to the supervisor who apologised for the error, investigated with the drivers and called me back to advise how I could get refunded for the incorrect order & get my correct order redelivered. Great spot for a quiet midweek coffee. All the staff are SUPER friendly and go out of their way to help. The place if tidy and clean and the alcohol hand sanitizer dispenser is always working.

There is a car park around the back if your picking up a coffee on your way somewhere (which is what I usually do), just remember to let them know your number plate even if its for a quick pick up.

There is nearly always space at a table to sit so its a great place to arrange a catch up over a coffee or get some work done. I believe it has wifi (but not confirmed).

Would get five stars if they were able to do app orders for pickup in store and ocasinaly give me the wrong size drink from what I ordered, but not a big deal.

Met a friend last Sunday for coffee and lunch and we both bought coffee and lunch and neither of us was asked to register our cars in the car park and now received a parking ticket! We we both bought coffee twice. What is the point of having a car park for coffee and need to register your number plate and getting parking tickets. By the looks of the reviews I am not the only person. Why isn’t Costa looking into this and getting it sorted.
