Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Just walked out now. I went in and asked for a latte medium. Girl did not remind/ ask if I had a Costa card… I thought ok…. well that’s on me. She asked if I was sitting in I said yes and I paid for sitting in price. Girl proceeded to pour out the latte into one of those cardboard cups (which I absolutely hate) but I thought well maybe she’s busy and distracted….it’s okay I’ll try it. I quickly got fed up tasting cardboard and watery coffee, so I went to the counter and nicely asked please can I have a proper cup. The girl turned round and with dead eyes and no friendliness whatsoever, she flatly said “ one of these? “ . I said yes anyone as long as it’s a proper cup. I thought maybe she’s just having a bad day, obviously that would be why the coffee was watery rubbish …… anyway I asked the nice blonde girl if she could watch my cup for me to the loo which she did not have to do.She nicely and friendly said yeah sure ( I really appreciated that) and I popped to the loo. When I came back out I said thank you to the blonde girl who was absolutely lovely and went to look for my cup which had suddenly disappeared. The brown haired girl said “oh was that your cup I poured it out ( it was nearly full and still had steam coming off it !!! Eh. Wouldn’t u think it would be strange just dumped there. I was only away 2 minutes. She said “ I’ll make you another” and although by this time she was quite nice I was totally fed up with her and had enough and left. I won’t return. I don’t mind the odd mistakes made and I don’t even mind a rubbish cup of coffee once in a while. We all have off days. I recently visited a cafe and I must say, it left quite an impression on me. The coffee there was simply amazing! The aroma, the flavor, everything was perfect. I could tell that they used high-quality beans and the baristas were skilled in their craft. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I highly recommend this cafe to all coffee enthusiasts out there.
