Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Very clean, good environment. However the customer service was slightly appalling. I wouldn't use this as a reflection on all members of staff but there were two girls on when I got served who weren't very helpful. When one as taking our order the other stood and watched when there was a table that needed cleaned, the only table of two big enough for me and the other two people I was with. When our order was ready it was not taken to us, but one of the ladies quietly said that's ours in the most offhandish way you could imagine and left in at the ordering counter. We ordered a few drinks and with one of them, some cream and marshmallows. First off when we ordered it and were offered this option we said yes without having been told that they are an extra 50p each.. EACH. But we said oh well and went along with it anyway, it was only ￡1. THERE WERE 4 MARSHMALLOWS IN A GLASS AND A THIN LAYER OF SQUIRTY CREAM ON THE TOP... Thus this review. Thanx for listening to...

The 5 stars are for all the staff who are always going above and beyond for their customers. The staff are bright and chatty, creating a great atmosphere with their banter and good rapport with their regulars. Now, if I could give minus 5 stars to management/owners I would, due to the place looking as though it would collapse at any moment. There are constant leaks - with buckets all over the place, broken/stained chairs, holes in the ceilings - the place just looks like a dump. This has been going on for the past year and owner still haven’t lifted a finger(or opened their wallets.) What I don’t understand is that the the prices keep rising, but I see no improvements? Even with customers constant complaining. Where is the money going? That’s what I’d like to know. Good job girls, yous are the only thing keeping this...

Always made very welcome the staff know our order we meet friends in Costa each day staff are friendly. Pleasant all the time and very helpful by carrying over your trays when necessary. We went on Saturday and noticed wet floor signs up as there water comi g from under the counter the staff that were on I think it was 2 staff but they were constantly checking and mopping up as well as serving ,clearing tables and washing up the staff work very very hard we all appreciate them keep up the good work stacey and the girls...
