Refurbished from a no longer used tennis pavilion, the cafe owners had to persuade the council to lease the property. Now a thriving cafe which has brought jobs, great food and drink to the park and preserved a historic building. Clientele is varied although squeezed a little more to mums, children and grannies. Clean and accessible toilets, 10 tables inside, 3 outside under cover. Muzak, but at very low level. Really free WiFi (no sign up) but slower than most mobile 3G. A selection of home made savoury lunches and snacks accompanied by a great selection of cakes and tray bakes to go with well made locally roasted coffee. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and service is prompt without being pushy. Quality of food and beverages is very good and caters for a varieties of dietary requirements. Recommend for a lazy afternoon break or to grab a take away coffee and cake from the outside take away counter to eat in the park.

After some walk on the park and then you want to take a break while sipping coffee with nice brunch. Hey this is it, the perfect picture of Dandelion Cafe. I went there just to make a stop, but the atmosphere of the cafe as too mesmerizing, I had to delve into it, enjoy the coffee with french toast. P.S. The service was so nice, cozy place to sit and sip, family friendly, and lovely theme cafe.

Gorgeous cafe that I use with the children and dog as we are able to sit outdoors under th canopy with the dog. Coffee is great and kids love the ice cream Update Feb 2020 I cannot get enough of this cafe. The atmosphere, cakes and staff are fantastic. The staff are so welcoming and it really is such a family friendly cafe.

Really disappointed by the service yesterday when I arrived with my two grandchildren to meet two of their friends from Liverpool to exchange Christmas presents. It was almost closing time and a rude member of staff blocked our entrance and said we couldn't come in. When I explained and I asked if I could check to see if our friends were there I was reluctantly allowed in. The children were excited to see each other but the staff attitude was very uncomfortable and the children exchanged presents in the street. A complete stranger came up to us and said the way we were treated was disgraceful. I should add that my previous experience has always been very positive which is why I recommended it to my friends in the...

The food is delicious, hence why I have given 3 stars however, it is overpriced for what it is. £20 for 1 takeaway roll, 1 takeaway ciabbata with halloumi, 2 cakes and a coffee. All 3 times I've been here the service has been slow (both sitting in and takeaway). First time I was there they gave us a free coffee because they took so long to serve us. However, ironically they charged us for the dog muffins but never gave us them (which probably counteracted the free coffee given).

I'd go back as it a local business I want to support located in a lovely park, although overall I find the service a bit slow and all over the place and it not the cheapest place to buy food for...
